- I am going to take it upon myself to rate the massively dismissed game titled " Dragon Ball: The Breakers". A game that not only has an original premise, but a unique take on what is usually just a mass of fighting games in the anime genre. What better way to do this than to go for the Platinum Trophy of Dragon Ball: The Breakers, i get to try out all of the villains such as: Freiza, Majin Buu, Kid Buu, Saiyan Saga Vegeta, Broly and Perfect Cell!

Actually winning a match in this game is one of the most satisfying feelings i ever got in a multiplayer game, no lie.
That, i can agree with for sure!

I enjoy those moments you dodge and out maneuver the raider(without d change), mostly for like a minute Nd then you use d change, only to end it with a grapple and instant transmission out of there. Lol

I know i was extremely unlucky as you saw, one of the matches i straight up did everything on my own and still died. Cooperation is very important in this game
So the reason why all the survivors jumped you when you were Spopovich is because he has a slow start. You have to make it all the way to Buu's pod so a handful of level 1s can jump you while you're trying to make it to the pod
he probably know that after 100s of games
I feel this is important to mention. Your first raider was not your fault since how Spopovich works. You have to know how he works to use em, so when they saw who you had they just went for spheres to power up and get you low
The reason multiplayer wasn't working was because when season 4 of the game was released, so many people were trying to play that the queues weren't working well. The game underwent maintenence multiple times. But it's fixed now and you can play with friends!

Fun fact if you played the game since launch or its other seasons, you probably would got almost all the trophies coming from a player who’s level is 178 who’s been playing the game since launch

I salute you for platinuming this game in Season 4. Raider queue and the survivor meta became a nightmare in Season 3 and did not get better in S4.

it’s a really good game with friends but it has a really big gatcha system that takes around 3 hours of playing casually to get a 10 spin which really makes the game less fun

the reason why nappa didnt die(he technically did) in dbz nappa gets beat up and asks vegeta for help and vegeta says he has no needs for a saiyan that cant fight then killed nappa

Congrats! Just as some info if you want to keep playing, defeating Saibaman, Nappa, Zamasu, or any member of the Ginyu force (Not Ginyu) will not end the match, but rather level the raider up at a significant disadvantage (ex: defeating Nappa will increase the countdown for Vegeta to go great ape)

Congratulations, I personally made it Platinum relatively quickly as it was the Online game I was playing at the time he came out, if we exclude 50 matches as a raider I think it was quite easy Platinum, although I think it now have became much more difficult as the people have learn how to play better, so Trophies like "Did You Think I'd Let You Get Away? (Destroy an area and down two survivors.) became almost impossible to achieve.

Probably cause it's not just another fighting game. Kakarot gets hate for this reason too and it's literally the game we've been wishing for since the PS2 era.

when you said "guys!" at 8:58, you could have added shake on the screen and maybe zoom in as well with the shake and or make your voice louder as you try to make it clear that you say what you mean. But, zoom in on your face also works. Great edit as always!

5:06 Unfortunately, Majin Buu is the hardest to start out but WAY more rewarding once you get past his 1st stage.
My only problem with it is the same problem I have in every game of this genre, it’s not fun if you play casually because the sweats will use every strat to stall you

Also, you and your friend were probably having matchmaking issues as Namco actually split everyone into unnamed regions (even within the same country) when they added Broly.
Hopefully they fix THAT as it ruined the game for Switch/Xbox players forever.

18:29 By the way, this raider stage makes it in which if you run out of HP, you evolve into stage 3, but lose one of the best abilities (besides power ball) Vegeta can have. This goes the same for stage 1 (saibaman). You can only defeat this raider at stage 3 and 4.

as a player who plays this game frequently, I have only, after playing barely before ranked, only gotten to S1.... as a raider only, this game is hell incarnate but honestly amazing job, I haven't even done all of this, round of applause to the madlad here

I think it was hurt by the price, While all the other DB games were free with PS Plus, And presumably Xbox live. That's what stopped me anyway. But now it's free with the subscription i gave it a go really like it, Think maybe it needs to advertise more.
And adding Broly as a raider was cool, There's rumors of Goku Black / Zamasu being added too

If you played during the past two months then its likely i was in some of your matches. I gotta say, rip on those trophies for winning as survivors. One of the matches i had, we activated the time machine like 5 times as well as kill the raider or just escaping like 20.
The learning curve is genuinely unreasonable in this game, especially when you lack a meta skill. You were so lucky that you got Pod early on.
Still, it's nice to see you actually played for 50 raider matches. You probably have learned all of the combos and the like now.
You can rock with trampoline zipline smoke screen for most scenarios and solar flare for overkill
pod is not even that good anymore
Great job my guy! I dunno how you got so unlucky with taking a dub tho my first real match in the game I got a win and have more wins than losses. Honestly just think you got super unlucky with teammates is crazy cause you did so much for them on your own

the funny thing is that it was so much easier to get plat when it just came out because you could get a friend to be a raider so it was easier to get all the super hard trophies
I got invaluable friends in my first handful of matches, same for time to create perfection, That down two survivors one will elude me for the rest of time
wait where the one of most tryhard aciviment where you get as raider(use the area destroyer killing 2 survivers in the process)? or the patch remove it?
So i platium this game during the 1st few months it was out it wasnt practically hard expect for 1 or 2 trophies but i do feel like now thier are some trophies that are tuffer to get then when the game 1st relased

I feel bad for you dude. Playing this game is a nightmare. Playing as a raider usually isn't an issue unless the survivors are running in a pre made team like a bunch of cowards.
Playing as survivor is just soo unbelievably frustrating. You're always stuck in a situation where your team barely gives any effort to beat the raider whether through the STM or defeating the raider. Eventually it gets to the point where you'll just have to lose faith in your team and just let them get downed and take the ETM since winning with solo queue survivors is near impossible.
I outright quit the game once raiders started cheating by disconnecting me from the server for trying to summon shenron. The moment i started summoning shenron and the raider couldn't use area destruction, they instantly booted me from the game. My internet was fine and i was playing for a while with no connection issues but me getting disconnected from the server was definitely no coincidence. At that point i was done with the game. Unless you're in a pre made squad, you basically can never have fun since solo queue teammates are useless.
Wow, I'm sorry you had to experience that. I can totally relate, as I faced similar issues when I was solo queuing. Sometimes people were so ineffective that even though I was carrying the team, I would get extremely frustrated and curious about what they were contributing the entire time.

Solo queueing as survivor is always frustrating that its best not to play this regularly at all. Im done with that game for good. Plus, i won't have to worry about the gacha crap from that game anymore.

Ngl this platinum was so much easier in season 1 as the matchmaking was vastly different, first of all you could be the raider with your friends in regular matches, allowing for the hardest trophies to be handed to you if the raider was getting it for their friends, i did this for my friends since i knew itd be nearly impossible with how broken the raiders are
