Thank you i just bought a f super duty and it needs this done, glad you showed this as i now know all the parts needed thank you very much for your time, it helped me greatly.
Thank you again i can find the sizes of bolts parts ect myself, hell I'll even figure out the tools i need so you dont have to worry about that too. Great video
Quick question, your video was a bit fast for me to tell and I haven't taken mine apart yet to see, on the Hub nut, you used that 8 sided socket, can you not also use the 2-3/4 4 lug spindle nut socket? I have seen other videos where they used that, now I am wondering if I need different tools before I start....I don't have a second vehicle to go get different stuff once I start. I have the same 2019 F450 King Ranch 4x4 6.7L Diesel. Definitely a very nice, well detailed video. Thank you! The only thing I might suggest is that you list part numbers and tools, etc in the description. I know you mention and/or video everything but it would be nice to read them as well. I'm thankful to finally find this video with the proper size bearing, race, and seal installer kit, after having bought two already that did not include the right sizes....GRRRR
You're welcome 👍 I don't know if you can use a four lug socket. Picked up mine on ebay for around 25 bucks. *Carlyle TOOLS by Napa 3/4" Drive 3-1/4" OCT 2449 NUT SOCKET* Need 3/4 to 1/2 adaptor if you don't have 3/4 ratchet. You are not the first to mention that, I need to do better at listing tools in the description.
How many hours is fare to be charged this exact job? I need to know as my seals are gone , smoke is increased to immediate replacement so I will have all this done ASAP, thank you
What is the part number for the Lisle set for installing the inner race. The hub nut socket you said is a Lisle 2442 that is a 8 sided nut right which I think is different from the F350 correct??
Excellent video!!!
Thank you. Waiting for more videos.
I’ve done a ton of these on ambulances. You did it the correct way by packing grease. Not everyone does that because it’s also lubed by diff fluid.
Doesn't require grease only minimal until the diff oil takes over its an oil bath bearing grease will seize it over time

THAT was friggin fast, not to mention very good and exactly informative.THANK YOU.
Sometimes you go faster than I can watch. Good job and pays to have the correct tools.

Thank you for making this video.
What is the size of the seal take out and push in? Also brand and model of that air gun
Thanks
Why did you pack grease in the bearings?

Does the seal sit on the lip of the hub? I didn't have the right tools so i just used a mallet and i hit enough that it didn't go any lower
How long in time labor is this job exactly this job?
What kind of grease do you use for the bearings...the grease..does do anything to the gear oil lude.
Just standard high pressure wheel bearing grease. It doesn't hurt anything and Ford recommends if installing new bearings.
I assume all these steps arent needed for just a pad replacement?
It will probably develop a loud squeak if only the pads are replaced. Just a heads up
Come on 10k 🎉
👍
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Does that same socket fit a f550?
It should. Ford workshop manual shows a Dana M300 in both the 450 & 550
Thank you
You're welcome!
WHY NOT TELL EVERYONE WHAT SIZE THE DAMN BOLTS ARE?
You are supposed to be showing how to do it not showing how fast you can do it.👎
Just put in slow mo when u need to
