    Song Analysis
The vagabond is filled with confidence and hope, choosing an independent life in nature with with his head held high, eager to follow the call of the birds and the path of the stars. "Bed in the bush with stars to see, bread I dip in the river. There's the life for a man like me. There's the life forever."
This is not a person who is leaving society because of failure or fear. His motivations are clear: freedom, independence, connection to himself and to nature, love.
This song is the beginning of the vagabonds journey into nature and a life of solitude. He sets off excited, full of life and hope.
We are excited with him and perhaps a little jealous. Jealous of his confidence, independence and strength.
