I have worked in Europe at certain underground military installation as a construction worker and it's totally natural for them to have you sign NDA, and still they only show and tell you only what you need to know. Signed the NDA, but the military officials still walked me through certain areas I was not allowed to see, therefore they put eyemasks on us while being walked into the area we were working on stainless steel welding and ventilation, general piping and such. Positive thing was we didn't need to carry our materials and tons of tools down there, they were brought to us through the "hot-zone". Meaning even when signed the NDA, there were areas they didn't want us to see. And same practice when getting out of there. The country i'm talking about is in northern Europe. You should of asked that builder architect dude how a 1.5 billion project turned into almost 5 billion and took years more then planned? Yeah those are some smart planners, just should of continued for the new section, what maybe a few billions to complete. Get promised the world for price and completion, then years go by and the price quadruples with sh#t not included or architectural structural defects corrected. Where I live we have completed the most expensive bridge in north America by length ever built, 100 meters long, 10 years, almost twice the cost promised, bad steel from china, lost at sea gear for raising the bridge, never been tried concept and tinkering to make it work, things not included like bumpers for the structure from being hit by ships going through, the list goes on and on. Once a project has started politicians/planners will not admit fault, most won't even be around to take blame, I've seen it with a fleet of government ferries being built around here that cost quadruple and had to be decommissioned after 2 years for being not sea worthy for or waters around here and sold as scrap. There's a year old newly completed 11 story glass concept high rise building that started getting structural cracks on the first and second floor, had to evacuate all the people living there and jack up the floors to slow it's collapse, it's now going to be pulled. Alek Moran it is actually very efficient. 6 runways can be used at any time. You could have 6 takeoffs, or 3 landings and takeoffs, it’s shockingly efficient. That’s why you can expect little to now delays at the airport. Contrast to LaGuardia, 2 runways which cross, meaning only one takeoff or landing at a time, resulting in terrible delays.

CONFUSION is the worst part of this airport. As a graphic and environmental designer who's worked on public spaces, the most important part of the experience for visitors to a public space is WAYFINDING SIGNAGE. The #1 worst execution of any wayfinding signage of any airport in the U.S. is DIA's, worst than LaGuardia! Just figuring out where to go once you get off the train - WHO CAN FIGURE OUT HOW AND WHERE TO EXIT and then try to tell the person picking you up where to pick up you? complete clusterfuck. We have visitors about every month and it's a 50/50 chance on wether they'll exit on the upper deck or lower deck (arrivals or departures) and which side/end of the terminal they'll exit at (east or west) Most airports have massive door numbers to assist people, rideshare providers and taxis, not DIA!
The airport is a realistic view of what the city is doing and what is going on in Denver. Yes, it’s crap. Besides LaGuardia or Fort Lauderdale that place is horrible. This is why Ft. Myers is still the BEST airport. Its simple. The terminals are not far. Your luggage comes out fast. The doors to enter and exit are simple. Upstairs to drop off. Downstairs to pickup. There was nothing wrong with Stapleton airport. Now you have to drive out to BFE to get to this airport. Most people were against the construction of it. The architect could account for growth, but he couldn't account for the TSA being created and security filling up the entire great hall 6 years after the airport was built. The renovation moves the security and makes it much better.

You should of asked that builder architect dude how a 1.5 billion project turned into almost 5 billion and took years more then planned? Yeah those are some smart planners, just should of continued for the new section, what maybe a few billions to complete. This is what happens with going with architect concept structures these days, planners see a slicked out design and go all starry eyed and reject cheaper proven architectural submissions. Get promised the world for price and completion, then years go by and the price quadruples with sh#t not included or architectural structural defects corrected. Going into improve or fix these defects can cost almost as much as rebuild.

Alek Moran it is actually very efficient. 6 runways can be used at any time. You could have 6 takeoffs, or 3 landings and takeoffs, it’s shockingly efficient. That’s why you can expect little to now delays at the airport. Contrast to LaGuardia, 2 runways which cross, meaning only one takeoff or landing at a time, resulting in terrible delays.

Just figuring out where to go once you get off the train - WHO CAN FIGURE OUT HOW AND WHERE TO EXIT and then try to tell the person picking you up where to pick up you? complete clusterfuck. We have visitors about every month and it's a 50/50 chance on wether they'll exit on the upper deck or lower deck (arrivals or departures) and which side/end of the terminal they'll exit at (east or west) Most airports have massive door numbers to assist people, rideshare providers and taxis, not DIA!
