- The Strawberry line is the longest ground level 5" only gauge public railway in the Country.What a lovely long ride.
As we only visited for the railway we never saw a lot of the Country Park but as you can hear from the video the children seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The Railway and Park can be found off the A4 Bristol to Bath road.
Many thanks to everybody for the help you gave me in taking this video.
What a brilliant track layout they have with the turn table and roads into the workshop ,,, very well planned out and great selection of locos,,,, well done everyone at The Strawburry line ,,,

The railway has been taken over by the Park. I have heard they intend to dual gauge the track soon so check it's open before you go..Entry is by ticket through the theme park..At the moment I think this would be the longest 5" passenger hauling railway in the country.

Most impressive, I prefer steam, bit even the diesel locomotives look great. As you say, what a fantastic long run and excellent facilities. Some nice looking steam locomotives on shed.
The 5" ground level tracks are rare in the UK,I can think of a few but not that many,sadly no steam as it was mid week,steam runs at the weekend Dave........Regards Chris
