We can predict the future by the society we create today. I have lived in the United States for few years now but I haven't seen a man and a lady in their wedding attire more than a few times. We are fast degenerating than I thought. MEN abroad now avoid marriages like plagues. In fact, many Nigerian men now settle for ladies from other ethnic nationalities for the sake of peace. They no longer want to adhere to the notion of preserving the nitty-gritty of their heritage.
Again, current statistics shows that the Black Lady is the least in consideration for marriage among other races in western world. How many Baby MaMas have been recorded among the Asian ladies, Caucasian ladies and many more?
    Statistics are there!
We need to be careful. We are losing it.

The abroad system is the worst for the children. The African system is the best , just balance it. In Kenya we have psychological counselors in schools, I can attest that Europe had started damaging my children, I took them to Kenya and now they are flourishing. Don't worship the abroad system, Africa is best.

I did same for my son. He is a better person now. The UK educational system doesn’t recognise the active/badly behaved black boy so a lot lot of them drop off the educational system just because of behaviour but in Africa the child is trained while the behaviour is checked. A very small percentage drop out of school in Africa.

This is a complete single story. If you are a Nigerian man who is not ready to abide by the laws of the land then don’t bother to travel abroad. The laws in the UK works. The reason why a man will be asked to leave his home is if there is an evidence that the life of the woman and her children is in danger or that the man has been causing harm to his wife. It is however not something permanent. If the man takes steps to seek reconciliation and is willing to cooperate and change from his violent ways, he can be reinstated back into his home. The fact they a man is asked to leave temporarily does not in itself mean that the man has lost his home. He can seek additional legal advise to know what his true position is.
Not only men are asked to leave his matrimonial home, if a woman hits her husband, she can be arrested.
This also applies to not only married couples but also in your general day to day living. It is against the laws of the land to hit anybody. It is battery /assault and if found guilty, you will go in for it and this can earn you a criminal record.
The laws here is no respecter of persons. Be warned: if you beat up your wife and children of course the laws are there to protect them because they are vulnerable . In the same way, don’t think you don’t have a right as a man , you do. .
If your wife is guilty of beating you up or hitting you, if you can evidence it, your wife too will be apprehended. Don’t transport the lawlessness you enjoy in Nigeria to another country where the laws are enforceable because the law is unto you. Be ware. Be warned.

If a child is damaged emotionally and psychologically as a result of physical and emotional abuse, that can go a long way to shape the life of that child negatively especially on their future relationships.

As a lawyer I can confirm this like my fellow learned colleague said here as well but the anger is that some Nigerian women wants to be treated with equality but they are not ready to share equal responsibilities and consequences. If you are not ready for marriage, leave being married. There are Asians, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indians, etc. whose men are worse and nasty than the Nigerian men, yet they stay and hearken together. The African children in Diaspora are the children that knife each other on the streets of London in knife culture. The absence of one partner affects the children's lives.

A lot of Nigerian women are fond of saying "Drop the Nigerian mentality". Can you tell oyinbo to drop their mentality when they live in Nigeria? Is it possible that Nigeria has a culture or conventions that are completely barbaric? The oyinbo mentality that majority copy is the reason there are many broken marriages, fatherless children and weak societies. Many Nigerian women easily key into this mentality without understanding the agenda being driven. Some say Nigerian men want to be king. They hate the position of a man over them so abroad gives them the muscle to PUNISH the man for being the husband. Generally, many Nigerian men are in trouble abroad because of their wives, and the single men are now afraid to marry Nigerians whose language and culture they understand. Some are even scared of marrying at all because all men are generally in trouble now.

I live in this UK; all these talks about their ways being superior is all hogwash.....we see their kids, are they way better than ours??? Let's be real Naija just like copying other ppl esp if they are oyinbo.....be firm with kids, treat them with respect and listen to them.....not allow them run riot around and over you.....see them fighting over pronouns and identifying as a butterfly.....our parents raised us the best way they know, we are strong-willed and confident we can survive anything....now they want us to be raising snowflakes and jelly-livered kids to adulthood....that is why they struggle with their identity thinking they are caucasians until those ones show them they ain't part of them......then it dawns on them in their early 20s.....The best things to happen to these kids in diaspora is Afrobeats, at least now they are intrigued about their culture and roots....hopefully small sense will enter in the process.....we copy oyinbo marriage with divorce rate of circa 60%.....our own so called 'toxic marriages' still have a far lower divorce rate......

    • @fameandmurphy
      @fameandmurphy ปีที่แล้ว

That's a very sensible contribution. Our women don't really understand what is going on. They think the oyinbo way gives the freedom without knowing that the agenda is to create a weak society. Then a lot of people become lonely, children become drug and porn addicts, depression increases and the big pharmaceutical companies smile to the bank. The police arrests the druggies and kills the depressed and the lonely is left sad and depressed as she watches her life fizzle out. These women need to wake up. God arranged everything for a purpose. Ignoring the arrangement will lead to nothing but destruction.

We are quick to comment when we see cases of domestic violence online. Have we ever stopped to think about what causes men and women to be violent? It is exactly what was modelled to them by their parents growing up. Whatever you exemplify to a child , that child will grow up replicating that same behaviour.
All cases of violence by a perpetrator starts from their upbringing. If you teach a child that each time they do something wrong you just scream, shout , hit and beat up that child including calling him names , you are setting a model for that child to do the same when he or she grows up. When a child experiences violence either directly or watches a father beat up and maltreat his mother, you are setting a bad example for that child to follow.
A lot of abusers have faulty foundations.
Violence is never the right way to raise children. Stop the cycle of domestic violence. It starts from your home. Door to door.
The best way to get a child to listen to you is by loving that child. Also, start training a child in the way he should go from a very young age so that by the time the child is a teenager, you have already moulded that child to grow up responsibly.
Setting a good example is also very important, practice what you preach.

It’s crazy, but majority of our women are the worst to marry in this time.
    Why?
Some of them forget our culture due to inferiority issue & identity crises.
Indians, Chinese, Jews, etc retain their culture and they don’t have problems in their marriage.
But some of our women are deceived by some westernized women who have messed up their marriage already, they ll take advantage of the law over their husband and abuse it(especially in the winter)
Even the people that made the law don’t really use it on majority of their men who are irresponsible, but ours don’t just use it, they abuse it.
Here in America most of their men don’t want to marry their women anymore, they just make babies anyhow from different men, that’s the future that some of these our women are molding for themselves and their children.
For our men that are abusive, they must learn to stop, if they don’t, the law here will teach them, because many of the women will get worse when they come here, so a man that has no self control will be pushed to foolishly react to his weakness and he ll learn the hard way.
In all, they make marriage scary now.. Hell is marrying the wrong person.
I cannot raise my children abroad, it’s one of the worst mistake. No place like home and our beautiful culture.
Marriage and parenting is scary abroad

Laugh now but remain lonely in your old age. The first reaction is always an emotional one from our women. do they think of the kids?
I see people commenting like the issue of domestic abuse is isolated to Nigerian men. What sort of Nigerians have you been relating with? The low lives? Look closer and you will see many Nigerian families doing well and raising their family without any issues (at least in the UK).
Why all of a sudden is this clarion call (especially from single, and angry women) to destroy the family unit? Once our women leave the shores of Nigeria and realise the "advantage" their new base in Europe and America offers them, they lose their focus and decide the best way to deal with domestic issues is to legally banish the man from the house? Even the uneducated ones have improved on their vocabulary with words like "misogyny, toxic masculinity, etc" - words that the media have drummed into their heads .
Are we all aware there are lots of men facing terrible abuse from their women too? The difference is that men are least likely to cry out about misandry. Did you know that?

The lady in the bottom right hand corner of the screen talked little sense but loads of rubbish. For example, telling your child not to interrupt or not to badge in when adults are are talking is not a bad thing. Another nonsense she said was "primary carer" - both parents are primary carers of the children, there's a father and mother. The lady on the bottom left hand corner of the screen who left made more sense.
The lady at the top right hand corner that moved momentarily to the bottom left made sense against the lady at the bottom right.
The man that said foreign woman that Nigerian men marry, such as Zimbabwean etc don't push men out of the house, while l agree it's not as rampant like our Nigerian women, some of those women are copying behaviours of those Nigerian women.

    The main question is that,
WHY is it that Nigerian women normally honour and respect their husbands inside Nigeria??,
Where some of these couples have been married and stays together for probably couples of decades before,
And all of a sudden they became WILD against their husbands in the western world,
Especially whenever they secured their documents in the western world???.

The problem is, people don't marry their friends, someone they both understand each other. The foundation of many relationship is based on lies, and laziness in people irritates their partners, but it's it's difficult to accept that Nigerians are lazy. I once shared a flat with a guy who was always messing up the flat, and would never put a hand in cleaning. Yet, they want to impose their filthy life on you, that's where the problems always erupted

In all honesty, women can't manage influence. when once there are a little bit rich, they begin to act manipulative and commanding. Is so unfortunate how we got here, but of the truth, even as a young man that i am, i fear even relationship now not to talk of marriage. women feel so entitled and feel it should all be just them. some will even want to control who u give money and who not. But their families everything is okk. Greedy people everywhere. But in all, there are still good women. A man marries a broke ass lady today, respects you love and all what not, but 95% of women today, sorry to say respect their spouses base on the money there have and spend on them. Is a pitty.

There is nothing like Nigerian mentality. You people are just plain daft to say this. Now let me explain "Nigerian mentality" to you! My late father (a typical man with Nigerian mentality) was 100% responsible for the upkeep of his family. My late mother never bought gas (fuel) in her car while my father was alive. My father did way too much to make us very comfortable and my mother simply had to focus on her teaching job and used her income to buy minor details in the house! Is this Naija mentality? GREAT MENTALITY!!
Currently I am married to a Nigerian woman, who is working very hard at home! She has not earned more than $5000.00 OUTSIDE THE HOUSE in her entire working career abroad because we agreed that we should give the kids enough attention. She is having a blast!
This rubbish you people do abroad is simply because you are copying a model that isn't yours and comes from a place of stupidity. If you won't respect your husband because you help with the house bills, please take your bag and go to your father's house assuming your father has a house.
Dear men, please know where the balance of power is. Stop playing Sisi with these people. Whenever they start their bullshit, which many actually do, ask her to leave immediately. Her best friend might be her replacement within a year, and she is likely to end up very alone and miserable. Do not abuse women under any circumstance but do not accept disrespect simply because you now live abroad. Stupid people everywhere! When he is in Nigeria catering to your entire needs, you didn't see Nigerian mentality. Because of the stupid money you think you earn! Stop making these people powerful, simply walk away or throw her out!!

@@tombimashri8149 soo true but have you seen oyibo people in action before? If we're talking about things that happen behind closed doors then that one is all over as I had hinted already but then again, have you seen the one that's in your face? I have never seen it in Africa before but it's littered all over the streets in oyibo country, even kids in iyabo system can see it by mistake. Balenciaga are even beginning to prove it as well and everywhere is quite or try to suppress it due to the level of wokeness, sorry was meant to say due to the level of there wickedness. Meanwhile, if I'm correct I think the conversation in this clip anchors more on raising "kids".
