      Hi Ebony Maybe this is because Tibetan language originally imported from India.

      @@uzazz Yes, the alphabet. Even today Tibetan alphabets and sanskrit alphabets sound very similar, though they look very different from each other.

      The alphabet of Tibetan is different to Sanskrit.

    Thank you. One comment though ... some people prefer that vowel sounds are represented in roman script using the international phonetic alphabet.

    It's derived from the Brahmi alphabet. Therefore, the consonantal pattern is same as the Indic languages.

    Hi, althouygh one year ago....
    adventure is: ཡ་ཡུད། (ya-yu) the "d" ད is a suffix and changes the sound of "you" in to yuu

    there's also a word for adventurer: ཡ་ཡུད་འཙོལ་མཁན།
