Love the impressive performance figures of this vehicle. It's such a pity that the interior is so outdated and that there's no automatic variant available, otherwise one would definitely consider it. Keep up the great work bro!

I agree with you on that one if they would consider adding an automatic I think it would appeal to an even wider market , with regard to the interior I was really impressed with the sunroof , armrest and leather seats but the infotainment system and aircon controls could do with a modern touch…
Automatic engines are costly to make and Mahindra isn't exactly a popular brand for small cars so they'd lose money. But you're right, people buy Licences nowadays in South Africa it has nothing to do with traffic. 🤣
I genuinely like the sound of that diesel engine, it's appealing. The interior is so 2014 and that multimedia screen looks after market. Mahindra is like Honda, they're very behind on interior technology and development.
The sound of that diesel engine is on my list of favourite things about the XUV300.
Mahindra actually has very good automatics and engines here in India, xuv300 also gets an automatic here but that’s amt and not so good. I don’t know if u get xuv 700 or scorpio n in your country but if it’s there then do try them, their automatic and engine are just too good.

The sound system is not good , you would need to get an after market sound system if you’re into music…
If you don’t mind the manual then you’d enjoy the Torque from the diesel, it really performs well.
Sphamandla went to visit the grandparents in December but seeing that it’s February I just realised he should be back in crèches by now 😂😂😂
The only problem with Mahindra is the resale value
It's does however cure the car theft or hijack risk . Nobody steals or hijacks a Mahindra

I think that a lot of first time car buyers were gonna go for this car if it had an automatic version.
I personally think that it's better than the Ford Ecosport you drove the last time, it offers a LOT of cool features but the fact that it doesn't have an automatic... Eish Yha!
The lack of an automatic version is really a missed opportunity , I hope they reconsider and bring it to South Africa in the near future.

This is a great car. My only concern is the manual driving.
Bro how do you manage to convince dealerships to let you shoot a video of their cars or even keep it for a week? I have been doing videos for a while but when I visit dealerships they give me the run around maybe mostly because I don't hide the truth when reviewing cars

I've alaways loved the mahindra from the bolero box shape. "Sitsi yibi kamnandzi lol" but didnt think this mahindra has such features am impressed. Great review Di bongz💯👌🏾👌🏾
The features really took me by surprise aswell and that turbo diesel engine is the real highlight of the car , you won’t struggle with over taking or picking up speed when you need to.

In terms of practicality the boot is on the small side for a car of its size but it makes up for it with decent space for passengers in both the front and back seats.

It is good car but problem is that it does not have Automatic
I hope they consider bringing in an automatic version aswell.
That is an impressive torque for this engine wow I am impressed
The 300 NM of torque in the Mahindra is nearly twice the 170 NM you get in the EcoSport and you definitely feel it , that 1.5 Turbo Diesel Engine is the highlight of the XUV300.
Even petrol engine produces 200 NM torque which is pretty impressive for a 1.2 ltr engine.
Mahindra has improved significantly, but if I were to choose I’d go for the Ford eco sport
Ford and Chevrolet is out of India due to low sales . I had ecosport for 2 year, but I would recommend u XUV 300 , my friend have and u should test drive both cars before buy ..
