I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and it's stuck by me ever since. When I made this TH-cam name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so... OG + KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

Now you have to check out the "Flip a Coin" performance video! Hanse’s (the rapper) verse in that song is incredible and the choreo is also so cool (fits the song perfectly!)
I was late to Victon (last year's comeback) but the more I see from them, the more I'm impressed. They're swaggy, smooth, unique voices (they slay r&b) ... obvs great dancers & visuals (At least 4 of them have dimples lol). Great chemistry within members. Humble, hard working, maknae on top. Glad you're checking them out! (They added a bside performance vid off this album - Flip a Coin. Worth a watch also.)

You gotta react to Howling and Mayday those are in my opinion a few of their best songs and the dances are pretty good as well

I actually think you should start at this new album and work your way backwards.
They have quite the story, and I can’t do it justice in just one comment-This is one song of 13 from their new album that just released January 11 2021, it is called, "Voice: The Future is Now" I think you might really like their b-side special performance for their song called , "Flip a Coin" the choreo was fun to watch!!! Also Victon’s choreo to the song ‘Gangsta’

This group has worked so hard to stay a-float. They are a sweet goofy bunch, close like family/brothers, who’ve been through many ups and downs together. They have survived several possibilities of disbandment, a 1 and a half year period of inactivity, a change in management, even sending out members to preform on a survival show in hopes to bring audience back to the group- which lead to a temporary separation from their oldest Hyung and leader of the group, Han Seungwoo. Honestly there’s so, so, so much more- I don’t even know how to eloquently put it 😖 so happy that you reacted to them...thank you so much!

Performance-wise, I'd recommend Flip A Coin and Mayday. Music-wise, I love Nostalgic Night and Howling. Honestly you should check out all their title tracks in order of release to see how much they've grown by the years.

I recommend you checking their whole journey since recent comeback to debut so Flip A Coin (bside from the same comeback as What I Said), Mayday, Howling, Nostalgic Night (missing one member, Seungwoo), Time of Sorrow, Remember Me, Unbelievable, Eyez Eyez, I'm fine (their debut song)
omg I've been waiting for you to check this song out. Victon are soooooo underated among with other groups but this shows their talent and swag! You have to react to flip a coin MV from them, its a performance VID the choreo is a chefs kiss!

Thankyou for reacting to them. Victon is an all rounder group. Every member has good voice, dance capabilities, good looks. And the rapper, Hanse, is one of the best in the industry. He wrote all his rap lyrics by himself and his lyrics are very interesting with his clever choice of words, hidden meaning, rhyme and are mostly from his own experience in life. You can watch/listen to his solo songs of Black Dog, Where is Love, Home Sweet Home, Hallelujah.
The voice that you notice is from Seungsik, their leader and main vocal. His voice is strong, beautiful, clear, hits every high notes easily, and he's usually the one doing the adlibs and backsound. Please check out his solo performance of Carry On, a song that members wrote for him to appreciate, support and encourage him as their leader. Also check his solo stage of See You Again and his cover of Universe.
They are also good dancers, usually need only 1 day to learn the choreo, but they admit that the choreo for What I Said is difficult and they need 2 days to learn it. Please check out their choreography of Gangsta, Flip a Coin, and their recent cover of Shock by Beast.
I cannot believe I’ve listened to What I Said well over a 100 times and never got the reference of the bowing the head and no cap. Hanse is so freaking clever, I’m always missing hidden meanings in his rap. I loved your reaction so happy you like them. Victon did have a 1.5 year hiatus in 2017 (due to low sales) and only came back end of 2019 after two members went on produce x 101 and Seungwoo was actually in X1, the resulting group, for a few months. So there’s one comeback, Nostalgic Night that will only be 6 members. I would recommend: Howling MV, Flip a Coin special video, and their Gangsta dance cover video. In the past their music is more on the sad ballad like style, but now they are making more hard hitting songs. I would check out Chess and Unpredictable off their new album.

One of kpop undiscovered gems (by most people)! I don't know why they aren't as well known as other groups cos they have it all - great singers, one of the best rappers in the industry, great dancers, amazing songs, lovely personalities, one of the best looking groups & dimples!! What more could you want!! I recommend their bside to this song Flip A Coin, Nostalgic Night & also their dance cover of Kehlani's Gangsta. They also nearly disbanded a few years ago so to see them getting better & better with every comeback is very satisfying!

Thanks for the react :) the natural progression from this could be to Flip a Coin (from the same album - it almost became the title song) or backwards to Howling (which is more like a ballad - but has a lot of nice imagery in their choreo too).

Hi hi! U can check out Flip A Coin from this same album! They made a special video 😊 Also choreography wise, u should check out Time of Sorrow, Howling and Mayday! Seungwoo's (the one who started the song with Say Woo!) solo debut title song Sacrifice is also great! In their 2020 concert, Sejun (the guy with the eyebrow lift) did a performance cover of River and Subin (homeboy with the purple hoodie) did a dance cover of 7 Rings. Oh and there was a choreography video of Gangsta! U should definitely check those out too! Some of the videos have only 6 members because Seungwoo debuted as X1 after producex101, and tt's another long story for another time..
They are really underrated and weren't doing well, but they held on for us Alices and here we are with the 1st full album! They have a very distinctive sound and their vocals are amazing! I have also only recently discovered them and holy shit they are talented and beautiful. They also released a performance video for a b-side on the album called flip a coin and the choreo is 🔥🔥! You should also check out their mayday, howling, and nostalgic night mvs. Their stage for nightmare (b-side on the howling album) is also one of my absolute favorites from them!
What i love about this specific choreo is the rap portion. Even tho Hanse is rapping fast the dance is minimal, or at least not frenetic misplaced movement, with them just vibin' really, because from what I've seen with other groups, if someone's spitting bars the choreo will be as fast as the rap(is kinda abrupt, making it look like a 2x speed version of the song suddenly started) making me think the choreographer only care for it to be fast rather than fitting.

I fell into that Alice life after watching them dancing in a mall court. Their predebut song What Time Is It Now? (it has an MV) is still one of my favorites. Victon deserves everything, because they work hard and are actual memes irl...plus they make total bops. The cutie in the purple jumpsuit is the Maknae Subin. He has all the hyungs wrapped around his little finger. He also dressed up as Alice for a fansign.
