I think the term "dictatorship" is wrong. The Chinese model is far better than the western model. You don't need a few different dickheads, which are telling people what they want to hear in order to get the most votes. Even if someone gets elected into office, after two years they have to prepare for the next election and its too time-consuming. What you want is: You want the best possible people taking charge of the country and its affairs. The western model failed because there are too many lobbyists and the whole election is a crooked circus. Basically, you can win the election just by manipulating the media, which then manipulates the people. 2016 and 2020 election in the US were best example. While the americans fought each other and the media literally destroyed their own president, trust in the country, etc. China kept building an infrastructure, more high-speed trains, etc. and why? Because they don't have to deal with all this shit.

I watched a documentary on the Chinese high speed train. The main reason that the train is smooth is because high speed trains need seamless tracks. And the Chinese tracks are able to be at most 3 millimeters in difference for the seams. That is very consistency work across 28,000 kilometers of the high speed train network. Your sensitive hand or finger can not even feel that there is a seem joining two tracks. The second reason is that the tracks are cramped down every half foot so the tracks won't change shape under different temperatures. Once again, cramp down half a foot across 28,000 kilometers of tracks. Further, the trains are very leveled. There are no ups and downs. A large percentage of that network are actually running on bridges so they won't interfere with the local environment too much. And finally, the train suspension technology is also advanced enough to absorb any further vibrations.
All in all, it is amazing beyond description. Not a single water ripple from that cup of tea.
