@jonlancaster6758 I think you replied to the wrong comment, bro. I didn't mention that part, just the bit I found funny, enough people commented that for my taste. I don't like being the repeat
My high school had an older model. My brother and his friends figured out that on those older models, as soon as you hear candy being dispensed, you could turn it back before the handle locks, and you can repeat for endless candy.
Do your vans have good candy? Mine never bring the Twix or Starburst. Its always pop rocks and twizzlers and I just don't have it in me to get molested for less than about skittles quality.
The candies in vending machines here are probably 20 years old and not even worth stealing. I once had a candy cane that was chewy, I like chewy candies, but as I kept on chewing on that candy cane I was like: wait, this isn't supposed to be chewy 😳

Give credit to the children. They figured that out pretty good. Me and my cousins would do a similar thing with a toonie here in Canada. To big to be accepted in to the where the coins are kept but the actual slot we put it in was big enough for it, worked like a charm.
Fairly ingenious! When i was a kid and bus fare was 60p, we would get three 2p pieces and spray them gold, the bus driver's coin thingy had only one side of any coins deposited that were facing them;so the harp on the back of a gold coin (like our 20p pieces, the 20 pieces being copper) looked like three 20p pieces were paid! Back in 2007, I worked in projections at a theater. We had thick tape specifically to label movie prints. All the employees were super happy to finally have a vending machine in our break room, but 1 out of every 10 employees would steal from it all the time. One of my colleagues in projections kept using the tape to make the coins too thick to fall, and would drain out all the drinks from the machine every time it was refilled. He got caught and arrested, and the vendor got tired of all the losses and pulled his machine. it's annoying how some people believe that stealing is inconsequential, only resulting in everyone else getting punished for their actions.
