During the full moon I tend to be drawn to strength, power and catharsis. I associate it with blood, violence, overflowing pulsions of anger and desire, so I create a safe haven for myself to practice around that. However, I associate the new moon with creativity, guidance, metamorphosis and the unknown. I usually feel calm around that time ; I look at the stars, I surround myself with darkness to embrace it, and I aknowledge what cannot be seen and whatever shapeshifts in my mind. Also I really like your perspective on using that moon phase to practice magick that you feel more comfortable to excecute in secret, and I'm definitely gonna add that to my list now~

I love doing card readings on full and new moons. Other than charging my crystals that’s about all I do with the moon. Like you I don’t see much difference when doing workings on different phases of the moon. But I do love watching it change. Lol.
I’m still a baby witch but I consider myself a lunar witch because I adore the moon and funny enough, my menstrual cycle always corresponds to the full moon cycle lol. I’m starting to realize recently that the phases also affect my mood.

Blood moon amplifies the demonic rituals and black magic strength or so I think it is mentioned in the book of The-Sacred-Magic-of-Abramelin-the-Mage so yes if u r into those try casting when it's blood moon for more success but also just as a side note such entities do require some kind of sacrifice sometimes living and sometimes physical objects to manifest in.
Pulkit Gupta Black Magick actually doesn’t require sacrifices. Some people however will sacrifice something living or an object but it’s definitely not a requirement.

Even during the new moon phase the moon is in cycle. Because of this only one of the three nights has the moon being almost invisible in the sky and so this day is referred to as the dark moon. The dark moon is also the new moon, but at its darkest point. The same will occur during the full moon. Though it appears full for around three days, the central day will be the most full and so is commonly used as the most powerful of the three day full moon.

I’ve just started my journey into witchcraft and magic and the like and I’ve noticed that on full moons I can’t sleep and I have this anxiety to just finish all the projects that I have or anything that I need to do. I think it’s really cool but also I’m like “but you can’t clean your room, pack, etc. at 1am and you need to sleep so you can function in the morning.” If there is anyone that has any tips on how to be able to sleep and not have this anxiety to finish and do things during a full moon??
Hi there! This is very interesting. Something I've never heard of before. But i think that maybe (I'm no expert, just going with intuition.) Your mind and emotions and spirit is in tune with the moon phases and especially the full moon. For me i see the full moon as a time to give thanks, charge, cleans and have thing come to completion and/or harvest. If this is so; then the new moon is when one would start a spell/incantation, new beginnings, set new intentions and goals. Perhaps you could use this urge and anxiousness of the full moon pushing you to finsh tasks/clean as a guide for the rest of your life and the moon phases accordingly. So you could plan at the beginning/just before the New Moon; for all things you intend to do for the moon phase. Within your magick and/or your personal life. Then follow the plans while observing the phases, doing something (doesn't have to be big) to signify each phase. Then on the Full Moon; you could say you'd start a physical 'routine' or 'ritual', like cleaning your room or alter if you have one. (In good time.) Just to get rid of that restlessness a bit. Then do whatever magick you had in mind for the Full Moon. Perhaps writing in your grimoire/spell book, every night of a phase could help form a consistent routine as well. Starting and keeping to this routine, especially during the Full Moon, will help prepare your mind and body for rest, (your mind remebers that cleaning your alter= winding down for bed) as well as keeps your spirtual self grownded, and ready for the cleanings.
