Very nice playing! And very nice bass! My fretless is no. 266 - tho only something like 1 in 7 or 8 were fretless. My only electric since the late 80s.
That has to be the only time ive seen Red give a ten, this was clearly the early days of red faces before he developed his low scoring nastier persona. And they were musicians so ofcourse Red let them go all the way.
@@jkrah thanks for the compliment. Yes, still doing it. Here's a link to a more recent tune featuring my fretless th-cam.com/video/EqeP4m-0Ezw/w-d-xo.html
@@keithstone9686 Well he was a guitarist in a band himself, ofcourse he let you play on and this was before he developed the nastier persona anyway which was more prevalent in the 90s.
Ron Martini from Dear Enemy. “I took one off, I didn’t like the lyrics”. Classic
Cheers 🍻
excellent yahoo
I used to go and see these these blokes at the Limerick in South Melbourne in the 80s. Wayne Monger played guitar with them and was the minus one.
Thanks for coming!
@@keithstone9686😂 It was my pleasure; I loved it and would have made it to just about every one.

Wow..266-nice!
I sold mine to get a custom fretless made by Chris Ffinch...the designer of the JB4.

It was a very nervous but enjoyable day. I'm glad it went well. Red was really nice afterwards too...
@@keithstone9686 I'm sure he was off camera. Was this 1986, you didn't date the performance.
bit of Jaco' inspiration ?
Yes, he is the reason I bought that bass!
@@keithstone9686 Awesome playing mate.. hope you still doing it :-)

@@keithstone9686 Reminds me of Level 42 one of my fave bands.
@@Jeremy-f3s that's very flattering, thanks 😊
Grouse!
How much did you bribe Red not to gong you?
Unbelievably, nothing!
He was a really nice guy on the day, he seemed genuinely interested.

Nothing! He genuinely seemed to enjoy the act.
@@keithstone9686 you're answering the wrong guy mate, I made a different comment, you're replying to the original poster again...
