    Watching a video now vs 2 years ago you would think its a different channel. Truly nice job.

      I never doubted my introversion. If anything, I have become less introverted while developing and experiencing more scenarios throughout life.

      @@bio.Luminescence hmmmmm yeah this video is more about the functions of the brain like it’s a computer. The real humanity of being introverted or extroverted has a lot more to do with individuality and experience and just the magic of what humans really are. This scope from LiJo and any type of personality typing system will always be limiting and ridiculous since it’s not real life it’s at best speculation and at worst a limiting tool. However, if you are thinking of your brain as a computer and wondering which parts you use more dominantly then this video should help you to understand where some of your dominance lies. I for one at an extrovert with my sensing and some thinking but I spend a ridiculous amount of time in my head even around others and people truly exhaust me. Im the most introverted extrovert who looks extroverted person whom you will find. Your course of life also suggest human growth and development as we develop our less dominant sides as we grow but you will always have that inner introspection as your base. Well said though and Lijo is an INTJ she’s not thinking about your emotions or human experience per say she can and they tend to be good at it but she’s trying to get to the parts and functions of the brain. Definitely agreeing with you here though.

    Something I learned to accept this year was that no matter how powerful a processor I might have in my Ti hero, it can get stuck in a loop unless it gets some regular "updates" from external sources. It doesn't feel very natural to me to seek those sources out. It can be a long process of trying different things out before finding one or two new things that are truly useful. Sometimes the search can be fun; but when it takes too long, it feels inefficient.
    Funnily enough, the "plug ins," I tend to install to update my personal processor are also very heavy on the Ti. I really like it when someone else took the time to organize new-to-me knowledge and perspectives, so that I can upload even the biggest memory and philosophy palaces in a systematic manner. Thanks for the computer metaphor, LiJo! I just hope I didn't torture it to death here!

    I think googling is an introvert thing. My sister, for example, likes to text her friends for answers. I'm like "you can just type that into google.", but she prefers to ask people, instead.

    Well put. Although, it's not so much where the information comes from, but which source one puts more weight or value on. If one only verifies weighing heavily on the internal base then confirmation bias is inevitable, and a change of one's opinion would be unlikely. On the flip side, weighing too heavily on the external can promote a lack of self-trust and conviction.
    I think there needs to be more emphasis in the personality typing and function community on the adaptation of behaviors and thought processes to promote growth within one's own mind as well as their behaviors at large.
    “The man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.” - Muhammad Ali.
    I think that can be applied to the act of thinking and comprehension, pertaining to the process, as well as the conclusions one arrives at.
    Sorry I have no snarky comment 😐

    As a sensor, I'm always amazed at how much more complicated things sound when intuitive try to "simplify" things with examples. That's because we have to translate everything you said back to sensor speak 😂

    Would this apply more to the dominant perceiving function? Since someone who leads with introverted judgement would prefer extroverted perceiving for information gathering.

    • @ajobimlover
      @ajobimlover 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My suspicion is that dominant judgers are more balanced regarding internal/external info referencing.

    Shouldn't this be "introverted observing vs extroverted observing"? Because xxxPs are always looking for new data and ignoring or not even finding the data they have stored, and saving all their documents on the desktop as "Untitled-287". Right?

  • @PhotoRubio
    @PhotoRubio 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If the internally processing system needs an upgrade, one goes out to buy RAM.
    If the externally processing system needs and upgrade, one installs a larger hard drive.
    Work on your deficiencies people! You will all be stronger for it.

    So if I google everything, from random simple questions like how to cook something, to deep philosophical rabbit holes and never get tired of watching different TH-cam videos about psychology, my attachment style, my mbti type, etc. Am I introverted or extroverted? I've always thought introvert but that was because I'm a listener and an observer and don't have tons of confidence
