Greetings from a console pleb. Stats differ a bit between PC and console. The AMX 105 is my favourite T10 LT as everyone, even T10 heavy tanks can get 510m view range. Combat ability means soo much more on console and the AMX is unmatched for its abilty to put out damage and still spot. Best T10 LT on console
27:44 my first ever fadins medal was going to be a kolobanovs 1v6 in the 13 105 against a progetto 65. He had less than 900 hp, all 3 of my shells bounced and i lost the game. It was going to be my 2nd kolobanovs aswell :/
Not using optics is a mistake on the 2nd setup. For a pure spotting build you need it. 447 means you will not spot almost anything at max view range except for maybe an FV4005. Also other lights will outspot you. The idea behind camo you mention is nice but without premium vents the tank still has great camo and if you use bushes correctly you are safe.
To be honest, the 13 105 was at its peak immediately after its introduction, summer of 2017 all the way up until 2019 when the wheelies were introduced in ~January... How I dreaded that patch. I should know, since I played around 2k games in the 13 105 during the span of one year. After that, even I stopped playing the 13 105. The context changed, and with the introduction of the Manticore too, I find myself rarely taking the 13 105 for a spin. It feels like it's just not worth it anymore, too many things blow you out of the water these days. It's significantly harder to do well in now than it used to be 6 years ago. And it makes sense, game changed a lot, for the worse, at least for high tier light tanks.
you should never run vents. period. its a bad piece of equipment. if you want view range. use optics. and there is always a reason to go over 445m view range bc that'll make it easier to spot the enemy lts@@robinkhn2547
You really want CVS and LNES on Ruinberg as they allow you to dominate the middle ridge of bushes. I have had games with spotting considered unreasonable for a city maps.
The reason I’m interested in autoloader tanks is that the HE got nerf to the ground. Now the only way to consistently cause critical damage is autoloader.
that doesnt exist cos arty has by far the lowest skillcap out of all classes. you really dont need much to be good in arty. its literally just clicking.
In that game on Karelia, why did you wait so long to spot the Manti? That Manticore could have wiped out your entire team if he did his spotting correctly...
So practically speaking this is a borrat kinda tank but with one more shell, more alpha at higher tier and more cammo less view range? Should have gone for the LT line rather than the batchat line.
Just change vents to optics and the amx will be even better. vents is never a good choice on light apart from tier 7 and below since you cant have cvs or if its a dmg setup
Personally I use CVS, Vents, Optics on my Manticore. It has piss poor dpm anyway (1,929 dpm), might as well make it so I always get the first shot off and can avoid being spotted, it doesn't have enough ammo to spam out shells anyway. Targets of opportunity and stuff.
@@neovo903if you want to improve your spotting capacity over the offensive aspect of your Manticore, why not using exhaust instead of vents? For pure scout build I mean
Just goes to show you that even the players that spend all day playing this game, don't know how to play. The light tank gameplay is light vs light. Then light spotting tds. Spotting heavies and mediums no one gives AF about. A stupid monkey can spot heavies. Winning the light vs light battle means having more view range and more camo removal.
This joker never stop make us laugh. Parkinson fingers (QB) stop paying other people to mark your tank. Come on baby, we all know how shaky your hands while you are aiming. 🤣🤣
LOSE THE VENTS ON THE SPOTTING SETUP. THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SETUP IS TO NOT BE FLEXIBLE BUT TO HYPER SCOUT. If you look up the math of spotting you will see that Optics and CVS compliment each other really well. They shouldn't compete against each other. They should be used together. At 36% camo stationary lights inside a double bush cannot be spotted until proxy distance. The critical break point rises to 38% at tier X due to field mods. Camo above this number is for staying inside single bushes or active spotting. But a good light tank wants 470+ meters of view range and at least in the high 40s camo because otherwise you can't spot at long ranges and single bushes are not very safe. A good light tank is a ghost.
It's not worth losing the vents at all - they buff everything by 4.25%. I don't need more than 450 m view range, as I showed in the video, especially at the sacrifice of everything.
@@QuickyBabyTVi do make that sacrifice on everyone of my scouting setups but i certainly understand why one would pick vents and its quite a close call which is better imo. I go optics because i feel like around 50% camo is enough and id like to have roughly 500m view range
My first game in the AMX 13 105 i got the medalion for killing the last tank with your last shell... I was broke after buying it, so only put 18 shells in xD
When i played elc, i spotted another elc and they cant even see me (it is about 60m or less) because i used bond optic, so i think view range is also important to decrease the enemies camo
So, because the enemy's camo cannot go over 1.0, and due to the calculation formula of the spotting range (your view range against enemy camo), without the commander vision system before, it was simply impossible to outspot some TDs/light tanks in a bush without going into proxy spot range (50m). CVS changed the game and allows you to decrease that 1.0 camo rating, enabling you to spot things at 60m, 70m etc. What helped you was the commander vision system. I suspect the enemy ELC did not have CVS, for some weird reason.
The thing is, while i agree with your point, it could be any number of reasons you outspotted the elc. Maybe he didnt have cvs or exhaust, bad crew, no optics etc. Or bad bush clips
