This is by far the best release of yours, Matt! I just can't believe HOW NICE and BEAUTIFUL it sounds: 100% recommended, ultra bargain social pricing ❤❤❤
This is truly a super synth, I was tweaking one preset and playing variations for about and hour before I realised I hadn’t gone through the presets… superb options and design layout… loving the key splits too 👾
I never miss an Audiokit drop, and I bought this as soon as I saw the email yesterday. Wonderful instrument as always, and the pads are out of this world. Keep up the awesome!!
A very impressive and fun Audiokit synth. Just five minutes in to the app yesterday, I was making new presets and plotting how to use them to take over the world. I hope there's a good demo of how to use the new sample & hold feature, cause I'm still trying to get a handle on that. Really enjoying Nerd Synth!
So cool! If you set the LFO to the squiggly looking thing on the right. It randomly picks a value, holds it for awhile then randomly picks another. Perfect for those wild BBC 70s style synth fx
The only issue I have with Nerd is there is never enough time to fully explore this awesome synth, so glad I bought it, I can easily makes dozens of new presets just by tweaking one preset. Thanks AnalogMathew 👍
Sounds great! I have to ask. Why do developers, in 2024, continue to develop VSTs that look like hardware synths? Either as a mimicking graphic (many Kontakt instruments), virtual hardware look-alikes (Arturia's hardware 'clones'), and finally, to something in between (Dune 3). A perfect example to what i'm referring to is the GUI/graphics differences between FabFilter's One and Twin 3 synths. The One synth mimics a hardware synth, while Twin 3 uses the ability of a well-designed GUI. A computer GUI can offer faster workflows, intuitive interfaces, graphic representations of what any adjustment does, and finally, to simply looking so much nicer than a 'virtual piece of hardware'. The intuitive power of a reverb like Beam, opposed to Eventide's "Blackhole' reverb, is night and day. For me, with hardware looking VSTs, i feel like the learning curve is much higher compared to something like Beam/Twin 3 GUIs. Also, I do not use any of the VST instruments i listed above, really. They're just used as examples of GUI potential. Of course, not everyone likes an ultra modern looking GUI in their VST instruments, but at least give us the opportunity to turn on 'graphics' that make instruments much more intuitive. Sorry to bring this up in your instrument's video comment section, Matthew, and please delete my comment if you're not comfortable with the topic, or the 'names' i've used. Thanks for a great sounding synth, I already know where/when i'd use it, and off to see if a demo is available.
It is a good question. I agree with you that there could be better UI choices. However most of those apps don't sell very well. The current situation is that users still want the old style of look/feel
Very nice, can you include various filter types (modelled after analog synths plus more), waveshaper / wavefolding, and various distortion algorithms - even as a paid package?
Hi Mathew. I tried the update 1.0.2. I like the limiter better, I don't know if that was changed or I am imagining things, but think the heat is now too hot. Where it is at minimum is more like what maximum should be. Love the app though.
This is great !! well done !! is the desktop app on its way :) there are many things out there, but this sounds decently different. Petty I do not own an iPad...
@@analogmatthew Okay! Good start, though it'd be great if aftertouch could be assigned per patch to a variety of parameters kind of how the LFOs are assigned.. 👍🏻🤪

That’s incredible! Hope you can make some cool music with it!

Thank you so much!
I never thought I would be able to afford a Nerd synth. Thank you for a great sounding and fun synth! Stay safe.
Sold both my A1R and A1 synths a few years ago, this is great news! Will enjoy having this app as a fond memento. Thanks 😄
Love what you do Matthew. Picked up this bad crazy boy.
Awesome work! Thank you! 👍👍
Hey Spidey! Does this one work on your iPad?

Great Job! Really impressive sounds with nerd synth. I ran it next to SNES and VHS on the 1st experiment in AUM and WOW!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This app puts Audio kit into new sonic territory. Can't wait to noodle with it.

Thank you, and it's so cool you're already making your own new presets for it!

Awesome app for music production!

Hi I love the sounds but when I change patches there is a delay before the new patch sounds. Is this normal ?
Had some issues in Loopy Pro the other day. The Nerd kept resetting to the default patch.
Thanks for letting me know. Will try to recreate

Maybe someday it could be on the desktop. There is a good Nord Lead clone on desktop called "Discovery" by DiscoDSP, I like it!
How to map and set up velocity and aftertouch to control parameters?
Hi, thank you. Currently this app does not have velocity & aftertouch as control parameters. Though, I did just add a Velocity Filter Knob...

I like it
This is cool 😎
Can it link with fl mobile?
careful bro, nail polish can drip onto your tablet😂
