I am sorry, I am incorrect, he has built a fortune by hating LeBron James, it does not matter what LeBron does, Skip will always diminished LeBron accomplishments. Had Westbrook played more minutes the series would've still turned out the same. Donovan needs to actually "coach" WestBRICK and empower his other players (especially Oladipo) instead of simply unleashing WestBRICK.

i feel as though Russel's customary breaks to begin with are bad, especially in the playoffs when you play the same team minimum 4 times max 7, because teams can strategize their break periods and rest their best players before russ break so they can play when he rests and go on a run. On top of that resting them late third early fourth is the worst time to rest him because that's when you need him to play at his best not as much in the first and the second. Also i would say rather than extend his minutes i would either a.) more strategically place his minutes, by say giving him an earlier breaks like right before halftime or right into the fourth quarter, or maybe by splitting up the 6 minute break he takes into 2 3 minute breaks and give him more time at the beginning of the game to compensate for the loss of consecutive time off or b.) play breaks by ear, so if you as the coach see your player is getting tired then call a sub and sit him out till he catches his breath then send him back in and do those shorter breaks more often, that way no one can plot out or predict the rest intervals.

Lebron always said the problem isn't the minutes, it's the amount of games on the week. He already played 48 min on playoff games and came back fine. Only time I saw him "gased" was game 4 on the 2015 Finals.

Skip is good. He actually had Shannon defending Westbrook and how much he's done. Skip also got Shannon to highlight how easy Lebron has it with Kyrie and Love. That's exactly why he makes it to the Finals every year. He has more help in the East than anybody. Even his biggest fan is admitting it.

Too much discussion about topics that don't matter. LBJ rested plenty during the regular season, finishes his Eastern Conference match-ups in 4-5 games and rests ready for the Finals. End of story, the CAVS will go to the Finals and LBJ will be fine. They have the same discussion every year, and every year it's the same story. Talk about the Clippers v Jazz series, one of the most competitive I've seen so far, talk about other teams chances, talk about what teams need to do to win (besides GSW and CLE). This stuff is too repetitive.

Funny when a non athlete tells a pro athlete "just suck it up" when they've never been in that situation themselves. Once you give all you have there's nothing else to draw from. Russ was tired but that's his own fault. He can have the points but he doesn't need the rebounds and getting beat up in the lane to force assists. His hero ball is what killed the team. Stop padding stats and include your team for the WHOLE game. Quarters 1-3 he's the man for assists, 4th quarter you could pay him to pass the ball. Stats show west brick jacks up more shots and passes less in the 4th. That's why they lose. Drive and kick to someone else or let kanter or Adams rebound. Direct the team don't play in spite of them.

What Skip fails to realize is that Lebron is so well conditioned to take those minutes. Westbrook rarely played over 36 minutes in the regular season, and is not conditioned to play at that level for 40+ minutes. That's why even with rest, he was so atrocious in the 4th against the Rockets. He was gassed.

He is playing those minutes to make his stat line better. If he played 32 minutes like most star players his stats would be like 22,6,6 instead of the insane 28,8,8
