There was an issue with the first link discraft had way back when your set came out, so they accidentally sent me the old soft magnet, buzz, heat set with no stamps. But disccraft was so classy they actually replaced the set with the correct dark horse set the same day they got back into the office from lockdown, so huge shout out to Discraft for being amazing!
First off bless you! And secondly because of you I started getting into disc golf thank you for putting up a real video of what it's like on the course. #gooddays #baddays
I like how you really want to challenge yourself, talking about how you enjoy the smaller baskets. Shows that you want to really get better and compete at a high level. I try to have the same mentality out on the course, always trying to challenge myself and sink harder and harder putts.
"Speed sign??" LOLOL! Man that was comedy gold. I was laughing and just waiting for them to actually read the sign as they got closer. Just fantastic! Thanks for the disc golf content AND the laughs Brody!!
Saw the thumbnail and instantly knew the course, only played here twice but man it's got to be one of my favorites. Hit the basket on one with a Crystal Banger GT back then. Need to get back up and play!
Hey, maybe you were intending to do this, but I noticed on holes 3 and 8, your front door or pointing straight at your line, vs perpendicular. They were shorter holes so maybe that was on purpose for control. Love seeing the 18 holes at once. Kelsey great job filming as well.
I love the "Old Man" course. I play in a group of grandmasters and this course always keeps the scoring unpredictable. Like you just showed us, you only have to be a little bit off on this one. Keep the videos coming. Maybe hit Turner before they pull the course for good.
I JUST GOT MY DARK HORSE SET TODAY. It took longer than expected because of the Corona. But you feel the difference when you buy these discs. I feel way more comfortable. I have my Innova portable basket. Now it's time to get freaky!
Not going to lie, my man I thought when you first started showing up in videos with Paul it was just a publicity stunt. I got to say you are starting to throw some very solid shots. So much improvement in such little time.
Great video! And I just want to give a shout out to Kelsey on her great filming skills! She always does a really good job at showing the baskets and the flights of the disks
Thanks for being the reason I'm about to pick up disk golf most definitely saving up for the Bro-D starter kit🥇 lost sight in my left eye a few years ago and you gave me something to try and work for thank you Brodie
Brodie at 18:37 if you look just right of the furthest left tree in the frame I think you can see the disc shoot across the grass. Probably took a hard bounce of the tree, this doesn’t really help you at this point hahaha but perhaps it’s still in the field.
That course by lake park golf course is the first course I ever played, lost 2 discs in the lake lol. Played there last week and shot my personal best +2 with 3 birdies!
How busy was it when you went? I went to UNT, so I’m nearby and have played it twice in the past week. Way too many people by the water whenever I was there
re: 3:15 Yes, in ball golf you would get relief from anything that interferes with your stance/swing. That includes sprinkler heads, trash cans (if you hit that badly), structures, the cart path, a curb/retaining wall, etc. I played on my high school golf team, and during matches we’d also be allowed relief from rocky areas or areas with a lot of roots so we wouldn’t damage our clubs, but I don’t know if that rule extends to tournaments or college play.
When this virus ends, I’m definitely gonna try out Disc Golf and some Frisbee Trick Shots! I’m so excited to try out some new varieties of Trick Shots!
That forehand is getting smoother by the day Brodie. I won't lie I didn't have much faith in you taking this seriously and for that I apologize. Little tip for the forehand you tossed on 7 I think the one that had to work hard right, your only getting to the circle if you hammer your most overstable high speed driver flat and let it skip or back hand putter turnover. Flip up forehand is never going to get far enough right. Keep up the great work mate cheers.
You kids live in Disc Golf Central of the Universe. It would be super cool to tour, and profile the courses around you for those of us who live in far away realms. Seein' the course you are on is super fun. As you spoke of EK shreddin' it...that was cool. - I hope y'all are going to come up to Oregon if we all can pull off a re-start. We have a beautiful, disc golfy state too. Putt Boy solidness; sho in up!!!
I was irrationally happy you got the Paige Pierce disc back. It's not even my own disc. I just know how devastated I'd be after losing such a beautiful disc. I've only ever lost one disc, a champion Mako3 and I'm still salty about it. I know roughly where it went in the water too, so I still hold out some hope of getting it back one day. Just waiting for the weather to get better so I can go for a swim haha.
On hole 3, just go for the big forehand over the water. The trees there are growing and hanging over a bit now, but you still have the line if there aren’t a bunch of people chilling on the sand.
Love the content, but EIGHT commercials? [Edit] If your disc gets lost in a tree in a tournament do you add a stroke with the drop even if it's in bounds? I thought you would, which would have put your score at -1 after hole 13. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer but I'm learning so I just wanted to know the correct, scoring rules. Thanks!
This was great to watch! Would be really cool if while you’re introducing the hole you say what disc you’re gonna throw so we get to know a little bit more of your bag
I’ve actually 2’d hole 3 a couple times RHBH. It’s reachable with the right skip shot. The easier way to birdie is a RHBH big turnover out over the lake through the trees. I’ve not ever seen it so thick that you couldn’t get through it, but it’s been a month since I played out there
Reminds me a lot of a 9 hole course in Bullhead City Az right on the river at Rotary Park. That's where I 1st learned to play. 2 baskets with river 4 ft. Away, awesome course but crowded cause it's on the river part of the park
I’ve played this course twice in the past 9 days. Both times it was just PACKED and we pretty much had to skip two holes since there were too many people chilling by the water.
Wow, that course has really changed since last time I played it. Which would have been around 2013. Honda have to check it out next time I'm in Lewisville. Thanks for the vid.
Damn I love these vids... I’m throwing every day now I’m back at work (greenkeeper) and my undertaker is my disc at the mo, love the flight. I’m addicted to the plastic man 🥏⛳️☮️
Brodie Love you man hope all is well! Get Paul and Paul back on for doubles or somethin youre all awesome together. Thanks for making this awesome content
Trash can is part of the course. Get 1 meter relief from ob and 2 meters relief from barbed wire fences. Relief from dangerous plants and animals also. Dead and unattached you can move it from inside or behind your lie. From there on you gotta play it haha
Love the video, and finally got my dark horse set in my hands. Now I just need to go and magically become good enough to not just throw them all into the water.
dope video bro! i watch your videos everyday you inspire me to get better. subcribed to your channel over a year ago and have been playing 5 days a week ever since.
Darkhorse 3 Pack is restocked! discraft.com/brodiesmith
Awesome!!
Wow u a LEGEND!!😀😀🤘🤘
There was an issue with the first link discraft had way back when your set came out, so they accidentally sent me the old soft magnet, buzz, heat set with no stamps. They gone
went to order, but the shipping to Canada is brutal.
The way Brodie said “WHAT” when Kelsey said good bounce made me crack up haha
Main reason why I started playing this sport. Love watching you get better and better
Hey Brodie. Been watching since 2014. From Denmark. Me and my dad play togethers everyday and I Can for sure say that you have inspired me
"That was going to be perfect until it hit that last tree." Isn't that the first sentence in the chorus of the disc golf global anthem?
Whether you had a great round or a gross one, the commentary from Kelsey alone was worth the watch! Thanks guys, loved the video.
First off bless you! And secondly because of you I started getting into disc golf thank you for putting up a real video of what it's like on the course. #gooddays #baddays
"Sorry officer i didn't see the Speed sign"
"He showed his pdga number"
Brodie - nervous laugh
This course seemed perfect for working on different types of shots. Great video as always!
Best commentary “THE KNEE!!” “Just not hungry enough..” 😂🤣
Those tees look like they were made just for James Conrad
I was going to comment the same
This hits different after “The shot”
Kelsey’s commentary is great
Brodie’s forehands have improved soooo much. Like it’s amazing to see the form difference. It looks great. He clearly puts in the work
For such a small hole you have a lot of runway. Nice
That's a James Conrad tee right there.
@@kruksog the human slingshot

"Speed sign??" LOLOL!
Man that was comedy gold. I was laughing and just waiting for them to actually read the sign as they got closer. Just fantastic! Thanks for the disc golf content AND the laughs Brody!!
That first hole was like flashbacks to when he nearly aced
7:55 "well, I'm about to give him something real tasty"
Go play Vets in Arlington, another cool old school course in DFW!
Really cool course Brodie! It reminds me of the water holes at steady ed (PDGA #1) at IDGC in Appling, Georgia.
“He’s eating”.... “I’m about to give him something real tasty.” 😆. Good one, Brodie! And nice putt on #3 in the wind facing the lake.
Just got the Darkhorse 3 Pack. Completely stoked to pick up the sport. Long time fan. Great to see you improving!
Have fun!
Saw the thumbnail and instantly knew the course, only played here twice but man it's got to be one of my favorites. Hit the basket on one with a Crystal Banger GT back then. Need to get back up and play!

8:37 lost disc in the tree can be seen rolling onto the fairway from right to left of the screen
I love the "Old Man" course. I play in a group of grandmasters and this course always keeps the scoring unpredictable. Like you just showed us, you only have to be a little bit off on this one. Keep the videos coming. Maybe hit Turner before they pull the course for good.
Glad you got the disc back! Thanks for the video Brodie!
I JUST GOT MY DARK HORSE SET TODAY. It took longer than expected because of the Corona. But you feel the difference when you buy these discs. I feel way more comfortable. I have my Innova portable basket. Now it's time to get freaky!
Hell yeah, been waiting for some more slinging discs 🥏🥏🥏
Not going to lie, my man I thought when you first started showing up in videos with Paul it was just a publicity stunt.
I got to say you are starting to throw some very solid shots. So much improvement in such little time.
Great round man, love watching you play.
Great video! And I just want to give a shout out to Kelsey on her great filming skills! She always does a really good job at showing the baskets and the flights of the disks
"He's about to get something real tasty."
I wanted to try and give him a treat
One of my favorite course in the area. Try out Heritage in Flower Mound after the rain stops this week. Its a good looking course and technical
It’s always great to have a round that brings you back to earth. And man brodie is good at putting
The face in the beginning clip was pretty great “whaaat?!?” 😂😂
Just bought a fresh Darkhorse 3 pack!!! Can't wait to be slingin' them discs!
LETS GO!
Nice to see my home course on the tube
Thanks for being the reason I'm about to pick up disk golf most definitely saving up for the Bro-D starter kit🥇 lost sight in my left eye a few years ago and you gave me something to try and work for thank you Brodie
Some really nice shots mixed in there. A few looked a little rushed but not too bad! Loved the sneeze at the end lol! Get it!
Brodie at 18:37 if you look just right of the furthest left tree in the frame I think you can see the disc shoot across the grass. Probably took a hard bounce of the tree, this doesn’t really help you at this point hahaha but perhaps it’s still in the field.
That intro was hilarious!😂

Nice looking course. I'm from Florida and used to the water shots.
Thanks guys for good content as usual!
I lost a disc yesterday that I watched where it went!! I’m still sad about it and I don’t have many or nice disc but I knew how to throw it kinda
I love all the disc golf content from you Darkhorse!
Saw Brodie out at this course and tried to say what’s up and he completely ignored me lmao. Great dude
hey on hole 14 you actually took a 5, not a 4, gotta add a stroke for the lost disc ;)
re: 3:15 Yes, in ball golf you would get relief from anything that interferes with your stance/swing. When are we going to get a “Yeetimus Maximus!” shirt?
When this virus ends, I’m definitely gonna try out Disc Golf and some Frisbee Trick Shots! I’m so excited to try out some new varieties of Trick Shots!
0:55 - Underrated burn by Kelsey.
Things Brodie learned today: 1: black discs get lost easily, get pink or yellow ones :D 2: Lost disc is a rethrow from previous lie with +1 penalty.
Speed sign!!; You had a Janice moment!!!
Finally!! It's like torture waiting for your videos!!!
Love to watch your videos! Thank you! 👍🏼😊

I'm new to disc golf not knew that was the wrong disc before he threw it

Love this course!
Notification squad is here keep up the grate job
Thanks for having my notifications turned on
I love these vlogs! Keep up the good work Brodie!
On hole 3, just go for the big forehand over the water. The trees there are growing and hanging over a bit now, but you still have the line if there aren’t a bunch of people chilling on the sand.
You've progressed quite a bit on your forehands. Keeping them nice and level.
My favorite course when I went to UNT.
Great video Brodie & Kelsey
Love the content, but EIGHT commercials?

Keep it up Brodie! Loving the content!!
Brody looking svelte! Those tee pads are long enough to accommodate James Conrad's run up.
I’ve played this course twice in the past 9 days. Both times it was just PACKED and we pretty much had to skip two holes since there were too many people chilling by the water.
GREAT VIDEO
Real cool seeing him playing my home course
Wow, that course has really changed since last time I played it. Which would have been around 2013. Honda have to check it out next time I'm in Lewisville. Thanks for the vid.
Gonna not honda

Brodie´s SO´s so fun to listen to

Brodie Love you man hope all is well! Get Paul and Paul back on for doubles or somethin youre all awesome together. Thanks for making this awesome content
Trash can is part of the course. Get 1 meter relief from ob and 2 meters relief from barbed wire fences. Relief from dangerous plants and animals also. Dead and unattached you can move it from inside or behind your lie. From there on you gotta play it haha
I almost guarantee you could flip up something more stable with you're forehand, and what was that disc you were so secret with it
Love the video, and finally got my dark horse set in my hands. Now I just need to go and magically become good enough to not just throw them all into the water.
Really enjoyed watching this!! Commentary lol!!!
Come up to PA. There are some great courses and I'd love to play a round with you! In fact, I'd use all my stimulus money to play with you. lol.
dope video bro! i watch your videos everyday you inspire me to get better. subcribed to your channel over a year ago and have been playing 5 days a week ever since.
All of your cycling is really noticeable, definitely dropped some weight!
