@@TaintedFools its actually done to manipulate the next piece it'll recieve. For example. Lets call the midair piece A, the one in the next box B, and the next one C. Piece C gets determined by the frame that Piece A hits the stack (well lock, but on these speeds, especially 29+ the moment it hits the stack it locks). So by pausing it can waste a set amount of frames to manipulate the upcoming rng.
