Waterloo is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is one of three cities in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. Waterloo is situated about 94 km (58 miles) southwest of Toronto. Due to the close proximity of the city of Kitchener to Waterloo, the two together are often referred to as Kitchener-Waterloo or the Twin Cities.

lived here for almost 18 months. i can say one of the best places to live especially if you're a student. moved to Vancouver but still miss waterloo♥️♥️
Blink. 50 years since graduation, things changed. Granddaughter now in 3rd year Engineering, so I do visit but limited visits for now. Thanks.
Just moved here 3 months ago, interesting city lots great trails and lots nice people, good welcoming atmosphere lots history. a very student city so lots talented people. there are some issues with homelessness for sure but overall good city.

Nice video. I lived and studied at Wilfrid Laurier U. in 1993. Waterloo seems growing since that time. I Wish I have chance to come to Waterloo again soon.

Waterloo Region is turning into such a wonderful place to live ... it truly is beautiful. Many of us are looking forward to the day when the 1950s style of policing, along with Bryan Larkin GET OUT OF HERE. It truly is lovely in so many other ways
Yeah...Bryan Larkin. What a piece of 💩. He's a coward to the justice system. He upholds his union and allows his officers to break the law. Just a horrible person. His parents probably even dislike him. His children probably deny he's their father. I hate that guy.
I think he's working in Guelph now though.

this place is right next to laurier where i went to. it almost feels like im there again.
I was at the city of Waterloo from year 1999 to 2004. It was small and peaceful town that is neighboring Kitchener except housing problme for the students. It was very hard to find decent place to live in, because it has two universities.
Oh I worked at those Shops lived a couple blocks over at 32 King st. Why leave? Well winters of course.

It ain't much different buddy. You moved a 20 minute drive away. There's nothing to love in KW or Hamilton . There use to be a couple hot hookers but they're old now or dead.

Cambridge is as bad if not worse than main and hastings in Vancouver. Kitchener-Waterloo is gonna be a giant tent city in the next 2 years. Wait...until the pandemic hits...it's sad. It's my home and I'll never return. I never even returned for funerals of 2 of my children. Go ahead live there.

Hi, just saw some ppl wearing masks while some didn’t. Are there any rules or laws for not wearing one? I am moving to Waterloo this fall, from the UK. Here the laws are pretty strict and ppl get into street fights for not wearing one. What’s it like in Waterloo and how the crowd is in general? Let me know, thanks!
You are not required to wear the mask outside. You will be asked by employees to wear the mask when you are going inside though. People in Waterloo are very friendly and I cannot imagine anybody here to get into fight over the mask.
@@lvfreeAdventures thank you for letting me know. Here it’s more like, people confronting the ones not wearing a mask. Due to the non-compliance, there usually is a fight. It’s nasty here, one of the major reasons for me to move.
@@justkidding7457 Hi! I'm from Waterloo, no one is going to confront you if you're not wearing a mask outdoors. People do tend to keep distance from each other if you walk too closely on the streets. Please wear masks indoors though! What are you moving to Waterloo for?

WATERLOO is 90% east Indian, 5% middle eastern and 1oo% university students. New condos for students, bike lanes for students, expensive grocery stores for students. Don't know how students became so wealthy. Regular folk....not much affordable for us. Tech couples graduate and buy fancy houses. Oh and students block streets regardless of lights. KW cops don't care about domestic violence. But it's kept clean, and homeless are pushed down to kitchener.

Oakville has nothing in common with Kitchener Kitchener is it a cold place to live Oakville is warming friendly I've lived in Oakville my whole life except for one year in Kitchener and I've never had such a horrible experience in my life people are incredibly rude are not nice to people that are from outside their town and they didn't even know where Oakville was they kept saying I was from Orangeville

I left this toilet after 40 years...what a boring place. Thank God I wasn't there during covid. No jobs. No bars . No mountains. There's a downtown core with nothing to do. Since I've been gone there's 3 tent cities. And Cambridge is right beside it. It's the the New bum hole of the world. Worse than main and hastings in Vancouver. Horrible. Will never return.

@@lvfreeAdventures After 40 years of snow and being frozen I'll take the rain. Winters there I would just hide inside. I like the snow on top of the mountains. It can stay there. I don't mind it snowing for 3 days out of the entire season here. In February we were already wearing shorts. Even the town of Hope has more life and joy by itself than KW. I wouldn't have what I have or am today had I not moved here.
