well, you just have to lower the steering column by loosening the two bolts below the steering column. that is it. there is no need for you to remove the covers
@@chau7825 thanks! It’s still a work in progress, but on the back burner for a while. I’ve actually done a lot of welding & rust repair, but there’s a lot further to go. Will probably have new videos on that by mid 2025.
So what really holds dash? The bolts on side by a pillar? Just asking because I don’t need to remove the dash just needed to lift it a little to do some wiring work
Yes and the two metal clips just above the bolts, which just slide off. I don't remember anything else, but you might have to unlatch the glove box at least; and keep an eye on the ECU area in case anything gets snagged. But my memory is poor so don't rely on it 100% 😅
