Hornby R3433. Holden LNER class D16/3 2P 4-4-0, fitted with a Zimo MX648R decoder + bass enhanced speaker in the tender. One of Keith's customer's locos - thanks to Mr John Chapman for suggesting we 'ran it in'. Couldn't resist taking the film while it was going......

Thanks, Graham. I nearly lost it on control at 3:45; Keith did well to pick it up again for the 'no brakes' downhill shot. Being one of his customers' engines, CV3 wasn't set to our usual 200-250 settings and it just took off - I don't think the real thing would ever have been able to have accelerate that fast !........Reinhard

Hi Reinhard, what a wonderful and beautiful little loco. The owner will be very pleased with the "real" sound decoder. Great camera work as we have come to expect and enjoy. This is what is great about this hobby. Love the close up slow running towards the end. Cheers Jerry

Isn't it about time one of the r-t-r manufacturers started making some Gresley teak suburban twin-arts, triplets or quad-arts? The hobby is crying out for articulated coach sets and none of the manufacturers have got the bottle to commit to producing them.
