i installed the u brackets to the side of the pool walls with the 3.5 inch self drilling screws but im worried i will have to plug all those holes after winter, must be around 30 holes should i use the same silicone on the holes from the screws that went thru the liner and will it stick to the inside liner?
no screws are supposed to go in the thin wall of your pool so your liner should not be punctured. If you put it in the thin wall you'll need to replace the liner
Hi Alain and Helene, depending on what your temperatures drop to on average, you might not be able to use this cover due to the lower level you should drain your pool to; our above ground pool closing guide on our website will tell you how to properly close your pool to account for harsher conditions. @@alainbriand3531 dont get it. You will be drilling holes in your frame. The holes will wapp out and then you have to make new holes when they do. Causes the frame to rust
With an Eliminator cover, the skimmer can be covered or left open - but by using the skimmer cover included with the cover, you will not need to fill your pool back up in the Spring time. Rain water and the water from melting snow will flow through the Eliminator's center mesh drain into the pool, filling it back up naturally over the off-season!

Great video helped me close my pool 3 years now. Bought a house that came with pool and eliminator cover. This video tells you exactly what to do.
Thanks for watching!

Aren’t you supposed to leave the u brackets once there installed and just feed your rubber strap through the u brackets?
Yes - you would want to leave the brackets installed in the off season, this will make re-installing the cover next season very quick!

I was joking, but ots sad to know there are some that would do something like that
@@softmetals3702 haha okay good
I live in the north of Canada, will this work here? Somehow i don't beleive this would as we get very freezing temperatures
I am from the Edmonton area. This will be our first year with an above ground pool. Did you find a winter cover that works for our winters?

D S I also see the plastic u brackets getting very brittle in just a year or two
@@chief5981 It seems like an upgrade to the galvanized steel brackets may be a good idea. The plastic ones will get destroyed by the sun
Do you cover skimmer or not

Is this cover available to ship to usa?
