i paddle with florida gators and honestly you have to sneak real quiet to even see one, they are not aggressive at all, the cotton mouth snakes are the real risk
water moccasins are no greater risk than alligators and actually a much lower risk. Water Moccasins are NOT aggressive they are defensive. I'm not going to argue the point with this old wives tale I'll just leave it here. Facebook group has a challenge for one person to provide video proof of a water moccasin chasing someone and it has yet to be met. millions of phones and cameras and not one person can produce a video of this happening. Please stop spreading ignorance and misinformation. Thank you. Anyone who doubts this please do some research.
I believe it should since it is stated by Selvor and they've been making these boats for a while, but it's not as stable as other kayaks in terms of capsize likeliness so I wouldn't put two people on it.
Just one person I'm about 300lb I'm losing weight thought it would be a good upper body workout just wondering if it can hold me thank you for your reply
Thanks for watching the video. My friend, this is my third kayak and the first time I experienced an unintentional capsize was on this kayak. The sit on top configuration changes the centre of balance quite a bit. Please make sure you practice getting back on the kayak in the event of a capsize in shallow water before taking it to deeper waters ❤. Normally inflatable kayaks are more resistant to capsizing but this one be more careful. 🙏🏻
@@justdaniel165Last summer I got the K5 and my friend who is almost 290lbs got the K1. I saw it dip in the middle as soon as he sat properly on it. Needless to say, even though it has a 400lb rating, the design has a flaw. I am sorry to hear that Injured techman capsized but it’s no surprise to me. My friend hopped in my K5 and in a calm inlet while wearing a life jacket he really enjoyed himself. The rating is for 240lbs so there is risk.
Best inflatable kayak video I've seen yet! Thanks for posting.
Thanks so much for the positive feedback, always appreciated.
might get this as a backup to my main kayak
Have you also tried the Intex Challenger K1? It seems to be similar: a cheap beach boat.
I have the Intex Explorer K2 and it's surprisingly good.
@@injuredtechman, what's the longest you have taken it out on the water? Hours and/or kilometres.
@hntrains2 I have been out for about six hours at a ago, having my lunch on the boat facebook.com/share/r/eqoKnQ5SHknuvW9f/?mibextid=uSdriS
@@injuredtechman, thank you - including for sharing!

Do you think it would hold 400lbs its rated for

Thanks for this video - you say the back support is good - Does the black seat really hold up well?
Yes it does, better than any other inflatable I've tried.
Haha not gonna be paddling anywhere near Mr Croc, no way dude 😂😂😂
