Wow! I can’t believe they would have sent a whole new puzzle! It’s amazing that they are willing to, but I absolutely understand why you wouldn’t want to do that. Congrats on finishing! Can’t wait to see it hanging on display 🥰
It is a beautiful puzzle, like you I am hoping that this artist appears in 1000 piece. In fact I would even be inclined to try something a "little" bigger for the first time. Great showing at the Worlds from all of you. Thank you for your coverage.
Just got done watching you get your Puzzle Quiz prize. Well done! Looks like you and Janette had so much fun in Spain. Anyway, bummer about the missing piece, but the replacement is great. Can't wait to see it up on the wall!
We did have so much fun and *jokingly* we can say we made the podium at Worlds *for the Quiz that is* hehehe I am also really looking forward to getting this up on the wall.
Donna Louise, I used your link and bought this puzzle. It arrived on the 20th of September but, I waited until The World Championships started to begin it. I just finished bag D as you suggested to do it first. You are absolutely correct in stating what a beautiful puzzle it is. I also ordered a 10 pack of poster board (30" x 40") because I certainly don't have a table large enough for this puzzle. It's going to be 53" x 115" when completed. So sorry to hear that you were missing a piece. If that happens to me I would make the same decision that you did and just make a replacement. Congratulations on finishing the puzzle, looking forward to seeing it put together.
So pleased you got the puzzle and are enjoying it. Good that you started with bag D - can use it for the cut pattern in the tricky sections like the dark blue in bag A. Keep me updated on your journey with it. 💜🧩
I learned a new term by watching the livestream of Worlds.... "Puzband"... the husband that supports his wife in her puzzling passion. That's what you have! A supportive 'Puzband"! Way to go, Kelly! ... oh yeah... beautiful puzzle... good to see you got it done. Enjoy the rest of your journey around Europe!
Congratulations on completing it. I'm gutted that you had that piece missing. I think it would have been worse if it were from an earlier bag and you were thinking and worrying about it for the rest of the puzzle. Enjoy your holiday and I can't wait for you to get it on the wall.
True, it would have been on my mind the entire time hoping to find the missing piece in another bag. The replacement looks good though. Having a blast in Europe with Janette. 💜🧩
Oh no! Missing a piece in a big puzzle is my biggest fear! Your hubby did an AMAZING job...for the love of God I couldn't spot the piece until you circled it! So no worries and I totally understand why you wouldn't contact Clementoni for only one piece that you already had a solution for. Well done, can't wait to see it doing up the wall when you get back. Until then, have tons of fun in Europe.
Having a great time in Europe - can’t wait to share all the competition details with you all. Kelly was great at making me a replacement piece. And just so you and everyone else who reads this comment knows, Kelly and I have separated but it is very amicable - we just realised that we are dear friends.💜🧩
@@fortheloveofpuzzles We all wait for these videos !! Sorry, didn't know about the separation. But I am glad that you two are still dear friends and, hopefully, all ex-couples could be that way. 🤍
Congratulations on finishing it. It looks amazing and looking forward to seeing it all together. I am sorry to hear you were missing a piece but glad to know I'm not the only one - I just finished Bag E and there is a piece of the snake missing. It makes me feel like I can't be interested in bothering to do the last two panels now. I see that they recommend you finish the puzzle before requesting replacement, possibly in case it is found in one of the other bags. I have started to sort Bag C and will sort bag F before starting to do any more of it and if I can't find it in there I may actually take advantage of their replacement policy because with a piece missing I can't sell it, won't ever do it again and it would end up just tossed out. It's too expensive for that. We'll see. Glad to hear you had a way of making a replacement piece. That is great for what you want to do with it. I don't have the facility to set it up and see it all together other than laying it out on the boards on the living room floor (which does have the space) but then I can't probably get high enough with the camera to take a decent pic. I had planned to just complete it, taking pictures of each section as I do them and then just break it up and put back in the box in case I wanted to sell it or do it again at some point (probably unlikely that I'll do it again).
I so hope you find the missing piece in another bag, but if not, reach out to them regarding their missing piece replacement policy. You might be able to get up on a chair and take multiple photos of the completed puzzle and then stitch them together. I’m sure you will love seeing it all together once it’s done. 💜🧩
@@fortheloveofpuzzles Yeah I can do the chair/ladder thing - I've taken pics of each section as I've done it - phone takes panorama pics but I'm useless at it. I'm sorting the other 2 bags now hoping to find it but giving up hope as I make my way through. I can combine the photos and do it that way - it's good enough for what I want. Your husband is very handy - you should keep him LOL.
@@heather6668 Just an FYI for anyone reading this comment, Kelly and I separated several months ago but we are still great friends - as you can tell by him making me the replacement piece.
@@fortheloveofpuzzles Oops - so sorry. I didn't Know (clearly - none of my buisness). It's called foot in mouth disease. I am so glad that you are still great friends. That's awesome. ❤
I think it's a relatively new puzzle and I would expect them to still be producing it...but I could be wrong. It's so lovely and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. 💜🧩
@@fortheloveofpuzzlesOkay. I emailed Clementoni, and they said it's still in production and will be back on their website soon. I'm glad I won't miss out on being able to do it.
Oh, frustrating! I totally get why you'd be upset-a lot of time and energy gets put into a puzzle this big and when it's not perfect, that's upsetting. That being said, the replacement piece that was created, is almost perfect! Even when you circled it, I couldn't tell that it wasn't supposed to be there!
Yeah, I try not to let a missing piece bother me but I just loved this puzzle so much. I am so pleased with the replacement piece though and no one will be able to tell once it’s up on the wall. 💜🧩
Wow! Your hubby did a awesome job, so close to the true one if you didn't point it out I definitely wouldn't notice. Just wanted to shared, my first 4k puzzle went through a lot I started than was hospitalized, got back home and soon adopted a puppy that chewed on two pieces and after a while I had to move (I had the rolling mat that save me but then later on the cable guy ruined because was on it's "way" on the floor). In the end was missing like 20 pieces, asked the company they send me all the replacements but it wasn't a continuos image and different colors, and since was my first 4k I wanted to be perfect. The company was super kind and exchange the whole puzzle. I build it again and was missing one piece, I contact them and explanined everything and they send me a whole new puzzle already build and in sections. I went through all that back and forth to when I moved again the begging of this year to find a little bag with about 17 pieces from the first puzzle and the one missing piece from the second. 😂😂😂 Today I just acept the replacement piece even if looks a be off, all this experience made me realized that it's not worth it. I would only do it if its going to be put on my wall or displayed.
Yeah, it's difficult to get a piece from a different puzzle print as the colour and shift in the image is most likely present. And just an FYI for anyone reading this comment, Kelly and I have been separated for several months now but we are still great friends - as you can tell with him making me the missing piece replacement.
I thought it was crazy that they'd send a whole new puzzle, but I guess it makes sense. The only way they could find the exact piece you needed would probably be for them to have the assembled puzzle and pick out the piece you'd need. And then it might not line up exactly. The replacement looks great! 😊🧩💜
Lovely ❤❤❤
I can't wait to get it up on the wall when I get back to New Zealand.

Yeah, I don’t really need a whole new puzzle and one would still be missing a piece. It’s going to look amazing up on the wall! 💜🧩

So sorry you were missing a piece but that replacement piece is fabulous! I loved watching you at Worlds.
Thank you!!! 💜🧩
This puzzle is beautiful, I can't wait to see it all together. It's a shame about the missing piece but the replacement is unnoticeable 😊

Worbla doesn’t sound familiar…it could be though. It’s a thin sheet of plastic which malleable when heated. Worked really well. 💜🧩
