Jesus Christ. The fact that that man could squeeze that much wisdom and profundity into just over two minutes and make it easily digestible, all whilst speaking a second language. What a genius.
I needed to be reminded. Even after awakening, one can shut themselves off from that internal world, when the external world becomes too loud and overwhelms the senses, and we forget who we intricately are.
It would be nice if it was concentrated in one place, but again fantasies are personal so each person has his own fantasies which he considers to be the highest form of dreams whether science agrees with it or not. Even contemporary houses were built on collective compromises, unless we're talking here about houses within houses. Also, bridges are always built in spite of any present circumstances, so I don't see the necessity why a man has to lose his life.
@@Mtl-zf9om @bumblebill1 Inside here does not refer to a place, but a felt direction of origin, as an analogy towards the actual mode of emanation of the most real (e.g. love, connection, joy, human, dignity, etc.) It is the same as saying "born from above" in an ancient consciousness. Modern people feel this more as an "inside" thing, whereas anicents felt this more as an "above" thing. Anything said with words will always be an aproximation to a world which cannot be physically ("outside", "below") seen, the most real world, out of which everything else emanates, seen only with most real but non-physical "organs" ("above", "inside"). the real trials of life drive us to the inner world and the teachers of truth. some enjoy sleeping in their comforts or blame the world for their foes.
Nevilles teachings are the real deal. I can tell everyone here that I was the biggest skeptic of his teachings. Mind you I was going to church at the time. I closed his books. Until I became further lost. I kept seeing his videos on youtube and feel a urge to listen. He keeps telling his followers to try it. Prove him wrong. So I did it. I tried it and my life has not been the same since. for 2 weeks straight I would go into my imagination and create the world I wanted. I never been to NYC and wanted to. So I would walk the streets of NYC in my imagination. I made it very real. Even from the cracks on the sidewalks. For 2 weeks I found myself literally walking the streets of NYC. The emotions when I saw the skyline have not been matched. It was then when I knew that Nevilles teaching was real. I found the GOD that neville talks about. The god within us.
I can confirm he is absolute right about what he says in that quote. It is about tuning your instrument to find the point of absolute zero where true resonance can occur.
It is so weird that I too am an INFJ like Jung, and listen to him feels like talking to myself. Because although I am not as intellectual as this man, I have the same way of observing. And bear with me, I have notebooks that has written very similar ideas.
I see lots of confusion here. Jung is not saying that the outside world is an illusion. Jung is stressing here the fact that there is such a thing as a psychological reality. Jung always has stresses the importance of not negating life and the outer reality (specially that of the body). When one spends too much time in one's head then one is living a provisional life and not a full life. At that moment one lives like an aerial demon, always living in their heads and in their fantasies. Such people are cut off from their body . On a side note: this interview happened in 1957 and Jung is stressing the power of the fantasy - that if one man has such and such a fantasy another man may lose his life. Twenty years later the FBI began conducting interviews on serial killers discovering the power of fantasies that serial killer have that eventually lead them to kill.
For World - Peace to become our shared reality, we must first fantasize it into existence, we must believe it will happen for it to manifest itself into our lives. International law is not enough on its own, further imagination is required.
Lisa Marie That is not true and this is not what Jung is saying. Unfortunately this happens when people DO NOT READ JUNG AT ALL. What Jung is stressing here is the reality of the inside world which is just as "tangible", as it were, as the real world. The inside world is fact, it exists. Jung also said that there is no substitute for reality, that is - one must live life fully, giving attention to both the inner and outer.

I can see why he never released the Red Book. His fears of not being taken seriously are confirmed by what he saying in this clip. How can science grapple with that?
An interesting aspect concerning the states of the consciousness and being unconscious. It's within our language either one or the other, but the definition of whats truly conscious or unconscious isn't clear. When are we truly conscious by our definition of seeing, knowing or being aware? Where is the separation from one to the other? What are we trying to define? We might be unconscious of the full aspect of consciousness...while the existence of these states are to be experienced trough the conflict of trying to understand the unattainable..
I'm not that smart but my mind wants to offer a newer well known school of thought that imagination allows you to try something before you create it.....thereby avoiding more than necessary tragedies...or at the least ..failure. Then again...the fantasy is sometimes magnificent....while the application is not so much. Lol
It was not effective for the goal of individuation because the dreams are the balanced expression of the unconscious. Taking psychedelics opens up the unconscious and into the collective unconscious more so than a healthy identity can take, this is pertaining specifically to individuation based goals. And yes one must be careful of un earned wisdom because seeing the reality beyond form through artificial means is indeed real and as ecstatic as described as close as words can get the state fades. There is a craving to return to the state. The ordinary world will never be seen the same or as satisfactory so the ecstatic state. That leads to an addiction to the shortcut unless one develops an awareness for their unconscious. I would be lying if I said I hadn’t had Ayahuasca before. The experiences lead me to want to understanding the archetypes, unbelievable synchronicities of moving into the “programming, under the surface of life. Jungs work made much more sense after ayahuasca. I am amazed he had the character and intellect to make the discovery of the collective unconscious and see the value in it without using psychedelics.
But this kind of things, and even much higher kind of things are known to East, several hundreds of centuries earlier. Example Gautama Buddha, Lao Tsu etc.... even earlier to them much more deeper things are fathomed out.....
Hmm, but this would mean that a man's any phantasy would be real, but it's still not percieveable to an outsider. How can it then be real in more than a imaginary sense?
Jung never said that quoted line at the beginning... although it does portray his ideas about the unconscious well, but c'mon people stop attributing it to him as if he said it literally. There's no source for that line whatsoever.

I think Einstein once said: if you can't properly describe something to a child, then you haven't really understood it.
Feeling the emotional sensations of the subjective inner images is the trigger to manifestation in the objective world.
