I am so grateful for Dr. Volkow's
Incredible findings and work on addiction and it's effect on the brain declaration of disease. Now, if only the system of government would implement her findings and STOP INCARCERATING OUR CHILDREN...💔

I am curious about the 'every 20 minutes an American dies of a prescription OD...' What is the OD death rate for any opioid? Does this statistic (every 20 minutes) include non-opioids, like Tylenol?

I'm a neuroscientist, and it disturbs me that the existence of free will is presumed. I am also a former addict to nicotine. In my experience, I deny free will exists. I deny ever once having the ability to quit smoking via free will. The question is begged, "How do you know that free will exists?" It looks to me that another scientist has bowed down to government in perpetuating the folk belief in free will in an effort to make money. She's addicted to U.S. dollar, I suspect, with the propaganda she's pushing.
