What I wished this episode would've highlighted is that some people are born into domestic abusive environments, which makes it far more difficult to identify abuse, since they have always perceived that behaviour as 'normal'. Narcissistic, abusive parents, will raise their kids into believing that abuse is love. These kids then become adults, who find themselves in horrible relationships, because they fail to see the problem. And I'm not talking about seeing dad abusing mum, or vice-versa, though that is true as well. But a parent who hits their child, isolates them from society, and mentally and emotionally abuses them.
Thank you, loose women, for talking about domestic abuse, when I was 19 I was beaten to an inch of my life and left for dead in Greece while on holiday with my then-boyfriend, he had fractured my skull and as a result I got epilepsy, we broke up as soon as I returned home, I then found out I was pregnant after returning home from holiday, I stupidly soon after met someone else who at first seemed to good to be true, I was young I didn't see the red flags the first few years were okay but then I quickly found out I was in another abusive relationship I was physically, mentally, verbally and in a cohesive, we got divorced but im now being controlled financially as we are going through the financial side of our divorce I've told the police but unless im physically hurt by him they don't want to know controlling behavior should be a crime, my ex-husband is a narcissist and all he cares about is winning he said to me he won't be happy til im in the gutter there's no help for us out there.
Being violent in a relationship was normal it wasn’t until later in my life that I realised it wasn’t normal and that it is not love. I have experienced all different types of abuse and you end up living with it for the rest of your life and that’s what people fail to realise
I suffered domestic abuse but he’s somehow made himself out to be the victim, 2 years of constant beatings phoned smashes being locked in his flat with no escape police involved, his neighbours phoned the police on him to, iv got ptsd but still everyone believes him and makes me out to be the bad person, while he gets to move on in life, we have a daughter who I’ve not seen in years they have used every excuse she has alcohol featus (proven untrue, she has a disability (proven untrue) she doesn’t need a mum cos she has to aunties, they have pictures they can show her, she starts nursery so might disrupt her, she starts school so might distrupt her , social work believe he’s to nice to ever do that (there’s police reports? I have been retromatied over and over again throughout the years he’s stalked me at work and all ways drove around my flat thank god I got a move so he doesn’t no where I am now
Your ex sounds a lot like mine the things he use to do. Everyone said I was lying about what I went through and the thing is they don’t know all of what I had been through. He told me that he was sent in to do a job on me and the sad thing is he wasn’t the first.
@@natashachadwick197 yes exactly hence how they keep getting away with it. They don’t take responsibility for what they do. I hope things are going well for you now I know you never forget but we have to find peace for ourselves ❤️
Good on you telling your stories and highlighting they are help out they are women aid they are very good and look after you and it better to get help for you and for your kids not good for you mental health. Wether be physical or mental health
I watched loose women today and all I could hear is about women being abused. WHAT ABOUT MEN????? !!!!!! MY SON WAS ABUSED FOR 10 YEARS. THE LATTER PART I WATCHED WITH MY OWN EYES 😢 LET US REMEMBER THAT SOMETIMES IT IS SOME OF US WOMEN THAT CAN ABUSE MEN. I WISHED I WOULD HAVE ALLOWED HIM TO GET OUT OF IT WHEN HE WANTED TO OVER THE YEARS. I feel for anyone on loose women who went through it but please let us think the other way around……. thanks❤
I m one of them ..I just left him but its so hard to feel I don't deserve anything he abuse and make fun of my situation in his country and manipulate..I just want nobody has the same situation
Yes please. I was attacked by My ex in front of our kids I could of easily stopped her but I would rather take the blows than for my children to ever see me strike their mother. It got so bad she was even arrested at my work place. However I didn't give a statement as I didn't want the mother of my kids to be jailed.
So glad this campaign is on loose women i went through mental and domestic abuse and was difficult to get out of as i had no were to turn and i had to think of my children..im now divorced 12 years and living my life now 🫶❤️x
I'm not saying it's shocking that they are talking about it. I'm thinking it's shocking how they're taking pictures pretending to be upset and make up ruined. They could of just talked about it but no let's all dress up
@@bellers01 I’m glad someone else sees this. The campaign overall is commendable - but that part with the dramatised expressions and ruined mascara is unnecessary and in poor taste, especially when some survivors are not believed because they don’t have physical injuries, the perpetrators well liked etc.
I would like to what was so funny coming down the corridor on to the set then all sat with sad face's come on itv if you are going to do a serious topic like this do it properly

Another thing that is overlooked are the people around that enable and empower the abuser.
Thank you for highlighting that it happens to men too. Sending love to all. ❤

Controlling and Coercive behaviour has been a crime since 2015 under Section 76 of the Serious Crime Act.

This is amazing ❤ well done ladies
I think toxic personalities and red flags should be taught in schools. So many of us are unaware. I am thinking of starting a campaign.

Absolutely agree it's disgraceful to present DV as a female only issue.
Mental or physical abuse is not just in romantic relationships
I m one of them ..I just left him but its so hard to feel I don't deserve anything he abuse and make fun of my situation in his country and manipulate..I just want nobody has the same situation
That's right
Brilliant campaign ax
I just wanna say Charlene is an amazing host, one of the very best.
Does anyone know the blonde lady's name that mentioned DV & disability? Not Denise the other woman?
They should do one for men who are victims of violent abusive women because there are just as many of them as there are abusive men.

YES TOTALLY AGREE...

The statistics show rightly or wrongly that one in seven men are victims and one in four women are victims.

A men should be on this episode talking about it
Women should have access to a perpetrators history
We do under Clark’s Law.
Shocking.
why do you think so?
Can these women not talk about happier subjects 😢always sad subjects.
I think talking about this is very important do you know how many women loose there life daily?

Why is Denise Welch Smiling its not funny
Look past the smile …
Nowadays, jump on anything for attention. Especially denise, she’s always loved that spotlight
Men also suffer DV!
Biggest load of snakes these women.
It starts with Prince William

I pray Catherine isn't a victim. Love for USA❤
