- Blindboy and Grandad live together in a very small, very dingy one-bedroom cottage with no windows and very little love. Granddad is livid when the lads flog his lucky statue of Saint Vitus... a sale that lands the old man in hospital.

Brilliant just brilliant. The fact they got Declan Lowney (one of the Fr Ted Directors) and the actor Liam O'Brien (from Emmerdale) involved just shows that these young lads are receiving the respect they deserve.
I love the whole Flann O'Brien (Brian O'Nolan) vibe going on here as well. It probably won't please the fans who only want to hear them saying things like "shit","fuck" "fanny" etc..... but they do say the word "bollocks" in the sketch so you never know!!!!!!!!!!

@ragatom Wierd and wonderful.Lowney clearly got what they were going for,camera shots set designs reflect the surreal influence of the comedy,Bboysgaff looks like something out of dickens Xmas Carol and the whole Gdad talking to his abandoned self fore hurting his back whilst sitting on his own lap is actually quite dark I love it and look forward to seeing how it progresses.The lads are too clever to just do the horse outside image.Theyd have to keep moving to stay interested themselves idsay

Very fuckin funny 'he broke his back whilst attempting to sit on his own lap' What a line and the lad from Emmerdale as the Doctor nailed it to a T.More of that please so fuckin different, I presume people who re more used to the more 2 dimensional horse outside version might struggle but I think this version of Blindboy is more akin to the surreal guy in the phone calls than anything else. More

@veylun I'm not being patronising here ok but have you any idea how much that stuff costs to get it right, green screening will do fine for settings [bandids madeira cake for eg] but not great for characters and this vid is not green screened in the Blindboy Grandad scenes.trust me Blindboy isn't Grandad, mind you he could be Mr Chrome.
