A special thanks to Kangmin Justin Kim for the excellent singing of the song. Thank you Brandon for the perfect playing. I will share this to all the People of the Tree.
Its one of Opera's best arias. Beethoven idolized Handel as the most dramatic of composers and one can see why. Believe it or not my favorite version of this was sung by Jackie Evancho at age 11 -the purest voice I have ever heard.
Holy fucking fuck Kangmin 😭 your voice and way of singing this has blown my heart to pieces.❤ Brandon, thank you! Merry Christmas to all! God bless the trees! 🌲
@@NoHomerS Through these videos I've learned that this style of singing is really not my thing. I don't find it pleasant to listen to for some reason, but I am still massively impressed by and appreciative of the talent and skill it takes to pull off those vocals. Then again, I was in choir from 5th grade all the way through school so maybe that has something to do with it?
I recently saw a video of you mentioning that you started in rock and metal, it would be cool to see you do cover of children of bodom song on lute or classical guitar, as alexi laiho was very much influenced by classical training, so to see their songs in classical context would be really cool
Beautiful! I have gone down the classical rabbit hole with you and Marshall’s videos lately. So much so that I’ve purchased my first classical guitar! A 1973 Masaru Matano Clase 400! Excited to begin learning this after nearly 20 years of steel string and electrics!
Please please please recreate the Tristram town theme music using your lute. I can almost guarantee a stupid high view count over time. I want you to with with Grinding Gear for the next PoE game. Thanks for everything! Happy holidays my guy
As always excellent playing. Great voice. I'm still shaking my fist at vocal vibrato as always, but this was simply a stellar performance. Something seemed up with the audio, s if the bitrate was low or the recording went wrong. Is TH-cam finally downgrading the free tier's audio quality?

Thank you! Yes the archlute is tuned the same as a Renaissance lute in G with diatonically descending basses. It works perfectly for Baroque continuo. It is perfect for flat keys and playing high notes while the theorbo is perfect for playing in sharp keys and emphasizing mostly the bass.
Thanks! It's an archlute. Yes they have a low F :) made possible with wound strings (invented in the 18th century) or double strings with an upper octave.
Thanks! I can think of a number of good Handel, Purcell and Verdi arias for bass baritones but not deep basses. Wondrous machine, Va Tosca, trumpet shall sound.

And with that my day just got better 😊
It’s hard to convey into words how beautiful Justin’s vocals are. Friggin surreal
To hear someone say “I don’t like this music” is fine with me.
To hear someone disrespect this music, is intolerable.
Yeah, man. It's either your thing or it isn't. Let that be the end of it.
