Crusader situation, 60 Acc base (Disease caused) with target having 9 Dodge = 51% chance to hit. Considering it becomes a coin toss essentially, it's not that crazy to think he would be dodged, especially in this game. Also, I'm surprised the Leper wasn't missing more.

I did a suicide run into the Darkest Dungeon to get the 4 level 0 heroes on darkest dungeon quest, die to heart attack, full party wipe, and party wipe on darkest dungeon quest trophies all in one go lol
Dude, I was on a team with some of my best heroes on a hard difficulty (but short) run. Halfway through every single one of them had a disease and one of my guys had flipped out due to stress (despite my targeting the little pig guys first literally every time). My healer got stunned which brought my leper down to about 1/3 health and he had a massive bleed effect on him. I thought "Alright, well he'll probably get pretty close to deaths door but he has a self heal so he'll be fine..." Then he gets crit for 23 damage and dies from bleed instantly. This was on the tail end of a run of bad luck too so I was out of treasure. I rage-quit and deleted my save.
As everyone knows and said this game is all about rng and strategy. You need every information to win this game i searched nearly every wiki page or TH-cam video before going after a boss or dungeon . If you use man at arms debuff skill every mob becomes really easy to kill or jester's one hit k.o skill but to know all of this you need to investigate... If you wanna force your way out of these dungeons you need high level like 5 or 6 and highest upgraded armor weapons and brilliant trinkets, it isn't impossible tried it a lot of times :) still despite all this good things you may lose all your minions in a level 5 champion dungeon like in blink of an eye... Don't give up, I finished game, the last fight was so easy for me xd BTW nice video bro :)

I'm trying to think up THE worst team ever. Something like an Antiquarian in Position 1, an Abomination in Position 4, but unsure which two other Classes would suck the MOST in Positions 2 & 3 between them. Any horrible suggestions..?
Rank 1- Plague Doctor Rank 2- Arbalest Rank 3- leper Rank 4- Abomination The Doctor would only be able to use her (rather weak) melee attack. She can also buff the other team members but that will really only do anything for the Arbalest. Arbalest can only use her blind fire for offensive damage. In rank 2 (and with no healer) she won't be able to keep herself alive with only use Battlefield Bandages. Rally flare won't do much to kill anything. Leper can't do anything except buff (and even then, only use each buff once per battle). Abomination can only heal itself and transform (and he can't use any of his beast skills in rank 4).

I never tested a houndmaster in position 1. PD and Arbalest are a bit useless in position 1 as well. if you have a certain shield you can try Man-at-arms in #4. Leper is useful only to himself in 3&4. Actually there's a lot of characters useless for position #4. Possibly mix blight and bleed chances, too. Are you going for "worst" in terms of: "bad no matter where you go", "bad in this location", "out of order bad"? Example: 4 antiquarians can probably do better in Cove or Ruins than the Warrens.
this is pretty much tipical but going on veteran missions without upgrades has nothing to do with luck man....game is already hard and kicks us in our doodady
Yeah on treasure run you want very fast character plus an antiquarian. You want a lot of torches that you pull out at the last second of the fight to minimise the advantage given to the enemies and to still have access to that sweet treasure bonus. Going completely naked is just a waste of time and heros

His party composition is a litlle weak (at least with that type of build on a jester). He starts the fight by spreading damage instead of focus and kill. And that's just the mistake he made prior to turn 2 in combat...

So you’re looking for treasure. And not ONE ANTIQUARIAN IN SIGHT. You screwed yourself bud. Want treasure (Mainly gold)? You use antiquarians. It’s literally her most useful and known attribute. So not only was the shit you got absolutely not worth all you went through but also you didn’t even farm for loot correctly.
+Mass Produce To be fair since the antiquarian is not that great in combat she might be the difference (for some people) between winning/losing battles and how far they get (since further they get = more treasure they get).
Uhh.. so This isn't standard?! This was almost *Every* run for me! I never even got to the first real Boss (Swine God?) , without wanting to bite through my Tableplate! It's why I stopped playing the Game entirely. and I know there are probably some sweaty trolls already typing "git gud" , but this was literally all the time, and you can't tell me that this is fun. And I know hard games can be fun - I played the Souls Series in it's entirety and platinumed them
Rodrianius i mean RNG can be really bad but I personally dont have much trouble with easy or medium dungeons at all. though I always overprepare. though champion and epic make me want to die :(. love the game though
Rodrianius The first actual (recommended) boss is the necromancer. The warrens is considered the hardest dungeon in the game outside of the DD/Courtyard so it's not a good idea, especially for a beginner, to level up the warrens (or even weald, especially in mid level runs with the giants) and try and kill the swing prince, which is already one of the hardest bosses (You leave the warrens for when you have better trinkets/town upgrades). The thing you gotta do early game is to skim through the missions and try and get the better trinkers available. Also, getting stocked up with deeds, because of the importance of upgrading the stage coach early and blacksmith. Try and use a lot of stess healers throughout the game like the Jester, Houndmaster or Crusader so you dont have to use the Abbey/Tavern as often or even at all. This will save you a lot of gold. As a final rule of thumb, always go to the stage coach and hire as many heroes as possible, even dismissing worst heroes for better ones. Obviously, your heroes are bound to die, and that's the theme of the game really, even the best players have heroes die on them. The thing you gotta do, atleast early, is to play really conservative with your preparations and combat (Especially with torches/food/shovels and item specific resources for each dungeon),as this will save you a lot of lives and will make you prepared for the RNG gallore.
@maniacal laughter I could have sworn that the cove was considered the hardest out of the normal 4, since everything there does stupid high damage(looking at you, you damned big-eyed groupers), is quick, and enemies tend to be hard hitters from every rank
TheDarkGenious im not saying the cove is easy. The groupers can take you by surprise with their high damage and crit, but really, they're the only ones who can do high enough damage. The crabs are dangerous if you're under prepared and didnt bring bandages, and the squiffy ghast/shaman can stress your party out if you're not careful, but i think the weald/warrens have much more dangerous things. The weald have the giants, which are extremely dangerous and can hot you for like 30-40 damage, the crones with their high dodge can also be a big problem and the ectoplasm guys can take you by surprise if you're not careful. Plus, the zombies take way to much time to kill and become quite dangerous if you're being marked by the artillery. The warrens have probably the most dangerous monster out of the four champion-exclusive monsters (swine skeaver)and the vomit pigs have very high speed and dodge and can disease you, which happen fairly often and they have the pig drummer who can inflict a lot of stess if paired with the vomit pig. Plus, the cove have quite easy bosses, especially the siren.
Altough you've had many unlucky things, those misses and dodges weren't THAT unlucky because you've had a shit ton of diseases on your heroes. Crusader and Leper's base accuracy is really bad already, u've had no blacksmith upgrades, no trinkets, this result is more likely than u think it is. Even my fully upgraded Leper misses so much i barely use him.
there's a ring that increases accuracy by a whooping TWELVE and gives a crit bonus, while only taking away (admittedly a lot of) dodge. but lepers are tanks with a self heal and prot buffs, they don't need no dodge >:3

lol, comparing this to Dark Souls...Dark Souls only requires your skill really, if you suck then thats your thing while this game has RNG and chances. Apart from that Dark Souls is really easy anyway, especially Dark Souls 3 is the easiest game I've ever played so far being able to dodge the shit out of everything without any time whatsoever, nothing can punish your fuck ups and such, UGH. Other two are proper and hard though but yeah.
It is the easiest overall game literally. It works in both ways. Its so incredible simplified that you can fuck up so hard with the heaviest weapon and still roll away like an idiot cause everyone is on speed. You also roll faster than ever before and can do that nonstop so you rarely get hit literally unless its the one or other boss. Dark Souls 3 has nothing that makes it difficult or challenging basically or that requires special skill or thinking for the most part, especially if you own DLC weapons. RIP. Game mechanics are also sadly broken 9/10 times and everything gets nerfed way too hard. Even moaning of a shield is too much for that game, you could ejaculate while playing and die I guess. About previous Dark Souls..well if you use heavy weapons and know what you're doing or use a shield its always rather ez but what just bothers me is the comparison because Dark Souls has basically no chances while this heavily bases on chances and %

Leper would be practically useless in position 3. Position 2, I'd go with Arbalest. Loses her most damaging attacks.

Also, this is a pitch black run, where enemies have increased accuracy, damage and crit chance, and your heroes have their aim decreased.

There's a trinket for the Leper that increases his accuracy by about 8 points. Find it, put it on and never take it off.

lol, comparing this to Dark Souls...Dark Souls only requires your skill really, if you suck then thats your thing while this game has RNG and chances. Apart from that Dark Souls is really easy anyway, especially Dark Souls 3 is the easiest game I've ever played so far being able to dodge the shit out of everything without any time whatsoever, nothing can punish your fuck ups and such, UGH. Other two are proper and hard though but yeah.

It is the easiest overall game literally. It works in both ways. Its so incredible simplified that you can fuck up so hard with the heaviest weapon and still roll away like an idiot cause everyone is on speed. You also roll faster than ever before and can do that nonstop so you rarely get hit literally unless its the one or other boss. Dark Souls 3 has nothing that makes it difficult or challenging basically or that requires special skill or thinking for the most part, especially if you own DLC weapons. RIP. Game mechanics are also sadly broken 9/10 times and everything gets nerfed way too hard. Even moaning of a shield is too much for that game, you could ejaculate while playing and die I guess.
About previous Dark Souls..well if you use heavy weapons and know what you're doing or use a shield its always rather ez but what just bothers me is the comparison because Dark Souls has basically no chances while this heavily bases on chances and %
