I love it how his music is just like organized chaos. Nobody sounds exactly like Andrew Bird-- he's just awesome. And his whistling and his socks make me so happy.
i was there when they filmed this video, awesome show, so great they incorporated mucca pazza and also did this thing live, I have a recording of it on my camera even though no photography :)
@JustThatGirI Great question! As you may know, Mr. Bird generates new and unique sounds every time he performs a song. This version was recorded on the set of the video shoot (The Hideout in Chicago). I am unaware of any availability of this track besides the synch track in the video. I absolutely love this version myself.
Saw his concert at Ravinia in 2017 after discovering him on Prairie Home Companion/Live From Here. Very entertaining & interesting to see his "rockier" side in contrast with what was aired on the show. Mucca Pazza was the opening act (and Esperanza Spalding performed too!). I had never heard of Mucca Pazza, but they were so very entertaining! I want to see them perform again!
At starbucks they were giving out this song free so I got the card thing and types the code in but it expired yesterday but i decided it was probaly a bad song... I now wish I'd come to starbucks yesterday
I used to love this version with Mucca Pazza at the Hideout, all darlings of gen-xers in Chicago. Sadly, all love to support Planned Parenthood. PP doesn't need assistance, esp from our taxes.

Me too!
3 me!
I was at the recording of this video at The Hideout. Organized chaos is a good description, especially with Mucca Paza in the crowd.
Saw him at the hideout not too long ago. And my band is playing there soon, it will be so awesome to have played where bird played!
Woke with this song in my head this morning, no idea why. Not Complaining.
Listening to Andrew Bird in 2023...
This version is un-shazamble. I like that. It's unique.
Bird sure has a way to get folks to come to his shows!
MyBrickFilms: That's the best response to anything ever
Uno dei migliori album del 2009...
that really made me happy!

Anyone got any idea what's the type of his shoes at 0:41?
Reminds me of Bishop Allen
where can i get this version of the song?
@MyBrickFilms If I had a nickel for every time I've said that sentence...
he sounds like what karl pilkington would sound like if he were american.
So's your mum so's your mum..
