that last round is a perfect example of just accenting the music vs actually understanding music and playing with rhythms while weaving through the obvious sounds that we expect them to accent masterclass by jimmy imo
The problem is that jimmy had to dance to a new music track every single round where as kefton never did because he had jimmys round too hear the track, there was never a switch where kefton danced to the new track and jimmy had an opportunity to hear the track first, there for jimmy had a good performance and kefton had a great performance
Round 1 - Kefton Round 2 - Jimmy Round 3 - Tie (Jimmy's flow and storytelling was crazy and so was Kefton's technicality and beatkilling) Round 4 - Jimmy Round 5 - Jimmy Round 6 - Jimmy (by a large margin) This battle was amazing. I was not a Kefton fan for a long time, but the last 2-3 years i have been thoroughly impressed by him. That being said, the difference in styles and tier of skill is pretty apparent here IMO. Kefton is like a hunter with track, he kinda waits for the right time to make a kill or do some damage. Jimmy is more like a surfer on the track, he rides the waves and adjusts and flows as he needs to. On hard hitting heavy tracks Kefton shines, but Jimmy's flow and storytelling is superior. Kefton has better beatkills and power moves, but Jimmy is just as technical. To me Jimmy won this by a good amount.
