      @@katieleestylist9655 Hello, excuse me, beautiful I would like to know if you were wearing Wella's 4/71 and you changed it to 7/1. Is your transformation like that?

    I want this color but i start with platinum white blonde hair. I need to color fill with some red/copper but i want it to turn ash cold like this not to risk to have warm tones🤔 what can i do to prevent this?

    LOVE this colour. Thanks for the video! Was thinking of trying 7/97 Wella CT for a Root Touch up, previously used 7/7 and found it a little too red. Any advice on 7/97 or would you advise mixing some ash (7/1) with the formula to cool it down or will 7/97 be cool enough?
    Thank you :)

      Hey! The problem you will find with the 7/97 is that the last 7 means brown (red,yellow&blue) so you will still have a warm tint to your colour. If your looking to cool your roots with no grey coverage I’d just suggest going for a 7/1 in CT. If you want to use permanent hair colour for roots 7.00 is a very nice neutral rich brown, but permanent doesn’t fade out the same as a semi. If you are ever looking to cover greys and cancel out red warm tones Wella have just introduced a new tone to the range. Try using 77/02 for this purpose. The 02 cancels out any red and the 77 covers greys!

      @@katieleestylist9655 Thank you so much! This is super helpful. I tried the 7/97 as an all over 'gloss' and in photos it still picks up the red. Look forward to trying the 77/02. Thank you :)

    Hi Katie! May I ask you a question? I have the same hair length as you. Is one tube of CT enough, or should I buy two? Thank you!

      So sorry I have only just seen this! Because the mix is 1:2 it goes a long way and I use half a tube on my roots then after about 10 mins before wash off I wet my hair and brush through the rest of the colour that’s left over in my bowl!

    What colour of the colour touch should I use for a medium brown from golden blonde hair? Without getting any red tints? I was gonna get 4/0 as it says medium brown x

    • @katieleestylist9655
      @katieleestylist9655  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      First of all if you’re going from blonde to brown you need to pre pig. If you miss this step and put colour directly on lifted hair once the dye has washed out it will leave an unpleasant green tint with the brown. After pre pig you can opt for 7/1 colour touch , 6/2 , 6/1 , 6/97 Wella koleston. Please do not use base 4/ if you want a medium brown it’s very dark. As you can see I’m using a base 7/ on roots and it is a rich brown. X

    I don’t know if it’s a dumm question but I googled the colour 7/1 of Wella colour touch and it looked so blond😅 Why does it turned that dark on you? I'm asking because your hair colour is exactly what I wanted but my hairstylist used Wella 6/77 and now I have brown hair with a very red undertone and I want this to be gone so I need a new formula😂 please help🙏🏻😅

      @katieleestylist9655  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No this is a great question! Basically when we use semi perm color you have to picture it one shade darker. So 7/1 in semi is really a 6/1 in permanent colour.
      Also I just like to mention google pictures may be misleading as I have witnessed myself. Best off going by a color chart. 😁

      @@katieleestylist9655 Hi Katie Lee, so nice of you to be so helpful. I’m thinking of using Koleston 6/1 on my grey roots. Leave it on for 30 to 40 minutes then I want to put the colour through the rest of my hair which has so much red. I’m hoping to cancel out the red. How long should I leave it on. My hair is the same length as yours. The colour I’ve been using for many years is 6/00. Do you think this would be the correct colour to use? Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help.
