There's that moment of Beth saying 'Freddie' where she's so dejected and like, this is one of her best friends who has strayed so far from the light of logic they don't know how they can keep this up, and it's so good.
this is so good!!! i love how you visualise them breaking character, that's so good! the "both freddie and glenn are like-" is so clever. really expressive n funny!!
@@gormauslander the proper term is speaking OOC, out of character, which is what they meant by "breaking" in this one. meaning they were speaking seriously and not through the filter of their character
@@gormauslander "Both freddy and glenn are like", "this isn't character grant saying this", and any instance of addressing the player's name (freddy) it by definition OOC, even though they are so close to their characters that it barely makes any difference
The talent of this is just *immense* the colored apparitions are such an excellent way to convey who's speaking. and that Freddie and Glenn have always been one and the same
i love the moment at 1:12 where the boundary between players and characters just gets thrown to the wayside and will/henry go for freddie/glenn’s throats. it’s so good the way anthony takes up more space in the frame at 0:46 is also super smooth and pleasant to look at. _chefs kiss_ beautiful
Listen I'm not the only one saying this but I LOVE the way you show the players "disembodying" when they break character, and then when they speak in character again they both talk, it really shows how well the DnDads crew walk the line between what's going on in game and what's table talk. Also your animation here reads super well, even despite the crosstalk it's easy to follow what's what!
I actually love the details in the animation so much. Them all having their own colors to represent that they are out of character? Matt and Freddy being in black most of the time to represent they are the ones having the argument in character? Henrys eyes becoming green showing that it was mostly will saying all of that and it was kind of out of character for henry? Perfect
This is amazing! Love how you visualize the player versus character distinction with the ghosts and fading back into Daryl and when they turn into expressive stick figures. It’s fantastic!
OH MY GOD!! This is by far my favourite style D&Daddies animatic I've ever seen!! The screen splitting and cast "ghost" are so funny but also make it really easy to follow- so clever! Also helps that this clip is fucking hilarious im sure lol
GODS the colors and the choices you made in how to visually represent them in and out of character is absolutely superb. funniest shit i've ever seen. well done!
some hilarious context is needed, they were actively on a timer during this episode, MULTIPLE times did they get into arguments like this and ignored the timer
i love the approach you had to this !! so so excited to see more dungeons and daddies content from you, and anything else you churn out to ! your tower of terry video made me cry, it was such a good format of the scene and you've been consistently good with thsse uploads :] would love to have the team notice you !! im sure they'd love this
This reveal from Freddie was too perfect 🤣❤ Everyone has this experience eventually (if it hasn't happened to you yet, just wait...) But protip: if you get corrected maybe don't double down on your version like Freddie, it only makes the mistake funnier and harder to forget. I grew up doing general construction, welding & misc metal fab work so "Measure Twice Cut Once" is a phrase I've heard from early childhood. That being said I understand (and even agree to an extent) with the argument Freddie was making but... the phrase literally exists to emphasize the importance of precision over speed... GG Freddie, we've all got our blind spots in cultural knowledge so don't sweat it too much I'm sure the internet will let you forget this...eventually...lol
I mean, in carpentry you do want to make multiple cuts off of the same measurement since no matter how precise you are, you're not perfect so it's better to have the mistake perfectly mirrored across the board.
Im not sure the actual saying, but measure once cut twice is extremely valid. Its a good practice in things like carpentry or technical graphics to get the most out of fewer measurements, its called economy of motion
I fucking love this visual. Dude im cracking up! I came back to watch this and show everyone. This is so good animation wise! Its amazing how i was able to follow along so easily. This convo so fucking funny 😂😂😂😂😂
I just recently started listening to D&Daddies and have been at work for about a week now. Already on ep. 40 and this is the funniest shit. Omg 😂😂 seeing this scene visually makes it all the better
I know Freddie was one HUNDRED per cent doing the same thing I do where you realise you fucked up, get called out for it, but decide to double down instead 😂
Or if you're an absolute trash carpenter, it's "measure 3 times, cut, notice it's not cut correctly, measure 2 more times, cut again, and now it's too short." Then you throw that piece in the ever-growing pile of "will be long enough for a different part or be cobbled together with a bunch of screws to make longer." I have yet to figure out HOW this keeps happening to me. 50 1/4" Yup, this is 50 1/4" Measure, mark 50 1/4" Measure mark again at 50 1/4" Cut Doesn't fit. Measure 50 3/4" Wat? Mark 50 1/4" Double check measurement on project and board 50 1/4" Cut Too short. Measure 49 1/2" Wha...... dafuq? EVERY. SINGLE. BOARD.
Can you please do one of the moment that Freddie gets the concept of bake sales explained to him? Tell me you went to private school without telling me you went to private school
After having sat on the memory of this conversation for years and rewatching it recently... I've come to the conclusion that I have no idea what the f**k Glenn is talking about
this is like a jojo stand fight but the stands thinks that their users are bunch of idiots! if you are an actual dad you dont get this anime reference, you dont have the right.
I get what freddie is saying though!! If you cut one length then you can use that length as a guide when you cut more lengths of the same thing. I.e. if you need to cut multiple 2x4's then you can cut one in half and then instead of measuring the next one again just line the cut piece up next to it. So I guess ultimately the saying should be "measure twice cut twice"
Just listened to this ep and the fact that they were warned before hand that they were going off real world time and still did this is hilarious
I have "BUT TWO CUTS THO....." revolving around my brain constantly
It's hilarious how QUICKLY this devolved in to a legitimate argument
There's that moment of Beth saying 'Freddie' where she's so dejected and like, this is one of her best friends who has strayed so far from the light of logic they don't know how they can keep this up, and it's so good.
it's a better version of tne 'bruh.' '...girl' or^dude'
this is so good!!! i love how you visualise them breaking character, that's so good! the "both freddie and glenn are like-" is so clever. really expressive n funny!!
They didn't break character
@@gormauslander the proper term is speaking OOC, out of character, which is what they meant by "breaking" in this one. meaning they were speaking seriously and not through the filter of their character
@@haz6908 That's just it. They never left character ;)

I love that it's an in game argument that becomes an out of game argument and goes back into an in game argument
i love the moment at 1:12 where the boundary between players and characters just gets thrown to the wayside and will/henry go for freddie/glenn’s throats. it’s so good

The Ace Attorney references with those poses give me LIFE
I can't get enough of this group.
You did a great job with this.
IT'S BEAUTIFUL. MY EYES HAVE BEEN BLESSED.

Anthony's exasperated "WHY WOULD YOU CUT TWICE?" where he takes up more of the screen gets me every time. 🤣🤣
This is exceptionally good. I keep rewatching to see a different character react to things
Same. I've already watched 5 times
This is amazing! Love how you visualize the player versus character distinction with the ghosts and fading back into Daryl and when they turn into expressive stick figures. It’s fantastic!
I laughed so much at this! I loved how you brought the real people in to it - it's just so good!
I love how the players are represented as the spirits of the characters! So good 😆
I love the detail of the characters having their players color to represent speaking both in and out of character
This was my favorite fucking bit of the whole campaign. Also, love how the players are like the souls of the characters.
OH MY GOD!! This is by far my favourite style D&Daddies animatic I've ever seen!! The screen splitting and cast "ghost" are so funny but also make it really easy to follow- so clever! Also helps that this clip is fucking hilarious im sure lol

HOLY. SHIT. That was amazing and I'm going to have to rewatch it so many times
omg representing the players as stands/ghosts behind the character like that is so smart
some hilarious context is needed, they were actively on a timer during this episode, MULTIPLE times did they get into arguments like this and ignored the timer
having the players there as ghosts is so funny holy shit

I love Grant’s baby face, he’s precious.
This is so good. Thank you. I love the Mbmbam animatics vibe while still staying true to the D&Dads vibe. 😂
the cutest part is at 0:35 when he looks down at his fingers
Absolutely love how you captured the chaos of this
Their spectral player forms showing up was so fucking delightful, this is amazing
The visualization in this is absolutely beautiful I love Henry and Glenn getting possessed by their PCs
the flow of this animation is so good. also this bit made me lose my brain. no one let Freddie or Glenn build a house
I want to introduce Freddie to the concept of saw kerf and watch his head explode.
"TWO CUTS OF WHAT?!?!?" Kills me
This will forever be one of my favorite videos on the internet
This is amazing I love this. Your style is adorable and I like your smoothness in transitions this is wonderful
I love your animations on my favourite dnd series. They're so good and are made with so much heart
Bro, this animatic is sick!!! This is so cool, keep making these!
Thank you for bringing this back to my mind this was hilarious 😂
I listened to dungeons and daddies s1 about 2 years ago, and this takes me back.
This is so good! I love how you visualized the players as ghosts.
Since it was going off real world time, I like to imagine that this conversation was also just happening with all the dads
Will jumping on the bandwagon without hesitation twice is fantastic, he's playing all the sides but will come in with the facts
This is a work of art, goddamn
Cut once, measure once, cut twice, measure twice
Finally got to this episode and it was just as funny
This was already one of my favorite scenes from the show and this has just solidified itz
I love this so much!
OMG this was perfect! thank you!
HENRY YEETING FREDDIES SOUL OUT OF GLENNS BODY AHAHAHA
This is awesome, thank you!!!

THIS MADE MY DAY ♡♡♡♡♡

Ooooh, I forgot how amazing this scene was. Hahaha
this is literally the funniest scene im so glad to see it animated!!
I fucking love this visual. Dude im cracking up! I came back to watch this and show everyone. This is so good animation wise! Its amazing how i was able to follow along so easily. This convo so fucking funny 😂😂😂😂😂
this is really neat and fun to watch! also I just love this bit
I needs Freddies confidence
THIS IS GREAT
Same energy as the Oney Plays "tiny clone" battle
This animation is incredible! Keep it up!
Glenn definetly has +8 inteligence.
This is so perfect, oh man
I just recently started listening to D&Daddies and have been at work for about a week now. Already on ep. 40 and this is the funniest shit. Omg 😂😂 seeing this scene visually makes it all the better
AMAZING VIDEO TYSM FOR THE GORGEOUS ART
This is amazing
Dad stunlock!
freakin LUV IT!
I love the ghosts
If you were wondering what "Too stupid to be wrong" looked like, this is it. ❤❤❤🤣😂🤣
God I love this show
I know Freddie was one HUNDRED per cent doing the same thing I do where you realise you fucked up, get called out for it, but decide to double down instead 😂
this is super well made!

Yup, this is 50 1/4"
Measure, mark 50 1/4"
Measure mark again at 50 1/4"
Cut
Doesn't fit. Measure 50 3/4"

Cut
Too short. Measure 49 1/2"

EVERY. SINGLE. BOARD.
"Haha, two cuts though?"
I still have no idea how that logic makes sense to Freddie.
Can you please do one of the moment that Freddie gets the concept of bake sales explained to him? Tell me you went to private school without telling me you went to private school
After having sat on the memory of this conversation for years and rewatching it recently...
I've come to the conclusion that I have no idea what the f**k Glenn is talking about
Aww rewatching this a showing others XD This is previous
This was the first dndads thing I’d ever seen. I wonder if I’d have checked it out sooner if I knew the context was fortnite lol
Fucking. Aaaaamazong!
sooooooo good ughhhhhh
this is like a jojo stand fight but the stands thinks that their users are bunch of idiots!
if you are an actual dad you dont get this anime reference, you dont have the right.
I cut it twice and it's still too short
💖💘💝!!
I get what freddie is saying though!! If you cut one length then you can use that length as a guide when you cut more lengths of the same thing. Yeah but...
two cuts.
I mean I’m still not convinced Freddie isn’t wrong. If you can measure once but cut twice that’s some serious skill.
