Bhai meri KTM390 ka average 25 hai aur uski service 6000 se kam nhi aati . ye to 4 wheeler hai 10Lac ka itna to aata hi hai :D
5.5k is normal bro if you see a nexon/breeza they cost around 6-7k per service. My swift petrol costs around 3k

If this service cost is high, then ask Maruti Diesel owners. Maruti Diesel service cost is average 10-14k on every paid service of 10k intervals. Their engine oil 3.1 ltr alone cost rs 4300

My average service cost will be 20k and the top it went to 1 lakh rupees for the gear box.
Kabhi maruti diesel ki karvake dekho 7-8 k aaram se cost hoti hai wo bhi 1.3 L ka engine hai jisme 3.2l engine oil aata hai ... Wo bhi sirf mineral oil dalne pe ......😀😀😀😀😀 Be happy you own mahindra xuv300

Bhai log meri alto k10 ki service 12k tak aati thi DD motors pe. The average cost for running 1lakh km was 10k per service. I am buying xuv300 petrol in 2023 and will soon get its delivery

Aj bro me delhi se hu aur yahan k service centre walo se puchha tha meine jan 20k wali service karai thi yo wo keh rahe the k 2.5 -3k tak labour lagegi 30k wali service pe. May be delhi ki vjh se zaada ho

5.5k is ok.. if i service my celerio in showroom it cost me more then 6.5k it includes by service shedule given in user manual
They change
Coolent, break oil, petrol filter, oil filer, engine oil, air filter, cabin filter, caliper service( its a fault in maruti car needs service of caliper for noice problem) it all takes me to 6.5 to 7l in maruti service center. This 5.5k is still good against petrol car

It should be 20K not 10K, just check in the Service book once, what’s written inside that...!

@AJ - this is very reasonable that too for a diesel-- I think u should try other cars than u will realise it was quite reasonable --making this statement after owing Maruti, Hyundai , TaTa & Honda at diffent intervals -- I will be very happy if this is the service cost after 30 K kms - so enjoy 👍

According to the manual the car has to be topped up with "Maximile Ultra " on the contrary its being topped up with "Maximile Feo" which is recommended to be used in case of emergency. What are your views about this Aj and other XUV300 onwers in the comment section?

Is hisab se to Maruti waale loot rahe he, meri diesel swift ki normal service 10-15k me hoti he, last service I got it done in 5.5K by asking shell helix hx7 oil oil filter and air filter only.
Maruti paid service charges are around 2300 which is on costlier side + oil they recommend is also on costlier side + they will try to sell add-ons like injector cleaning, break cleaning, engine decarbonisation etc.
Service is the only part where showroom can earn good margins...

I don’t know whether you did a good homework or not. You oil filter is supposed to change on every oil change. And Air filter, cabin filter and fuel filter can last around 30k. Double check your manual brother. I am a mechanic and have sone oil changes on lots of cars including Porsche, Range Rover, mustang and many more.
As per Service center Oil Filter, Air Filter, AC Filter they changed it almost at every service but Fuel filter need to change at every 20K km…
