He is not waste,it just live example that three pure bowler(bumrah,kuldeep,siraj)with our quality all rounder (jadeja,hardik) have no need of shardul or even shami in bowling department, either go with batter shardul for chase

Bro look at Aussies starc hazelwood and Cummins. Cummins as the third bowler always underperforms. Similarly Boom and siraj will open the bowling even if shami plays and hardik being in good form it would be difficult to manage all 4 pacers and 2 spinners. At least 2 of the 6 frontline bowlers will be under-bowled. And shardul is for rainy days, if India collapses and needs extra batter at 8. That's why shardul will play and ashwin in case of slow pitch.
Shradul can’t even bat I agree. Look at his average.
Why bother even playing him
Shami should Shardul replace upcoming games. Just because Shardul will hit one 30 or 40 once in 20 games, cant keep him playing.
