You have the boat we use all over the swamp of south Louisiana. "let the good times roll",Laissez les bon temps roullez -. you drive it very good like a true Cajun.
YT is recommending these old videos to me and i love it . This was great guys . One of the the very few RC airboats available . If you love RC it is a must have for your collection of scale vehicles . I had the mini Aquacraft and after enjoying it on the water I modified it to operate in snow . There's even less RC vehicles available for snow operations . Sure you can drive a 4x4 truck or car , and one time i even made custom ice racing tires . But there's few RC snowmobiles that are any good . Some toy garde stuff that you can mod , and I did that to limited success , or custom handbuilt crazy price stuff . Remember I'm in North Ontario , Canada and we have snow for , at minimum 4 months a year , sometimes 5+ . i've been wanting something to work in the snow for so many years guys .But it is very difficult because snow is unlike the other particles of nature we deal with . Air , water , sand , drit , rock . is ALL scalable . And why most RC planes and cars and boats work very well and similar to their full size counterparts . But a snowflake my friends , a snowflake is special and unique , it is one thing when created , another as it falls , another as it hits the ground , another when it accumulates , another if the temperature changes only slightly threw any of the OTHER states just mentioned it becomes something else entirely . The Inuit and or Eskimo people have 256 different words for snow in their language , and now you know why . So , anyways , the "snowboat " , as I called it , haha . Worked very well after final tweaks and mods , Incredibly fast , very maneuverable at low speeds amd handled conditions from packed to 4 inches of fresh powder relatively well . The happy spot was 1-2 of fresh snow on top of some base , giving it a carving ability similar to water reaction . The only negative aspect of its operation was the lack of braking other than reverse thrust , I was working on a servo actuated mechanical snow brake , when the the boat hit a tree going 50 km and shattered the shell . The mini Aquacraft has a thin plastic hollow body type design . If. it was a better aluminum hull this would not happen . I felt I had proved the concept well enough , filmed some it , footage is somewhere ? , and I didn't have money at the time to upgrade the hull to a better model . Maybe it is worth revisiting this concept and design now again fun fun , tech has changed and i;m not poor anymore . haha . I hope you enjoyed this very long comment , the story and development . One day I will show you and tell everyone about the JET SLED . I am working on this project again this winter season and hope to show it off soon . You will love it ! Salute from Canada my friends . Love and peace to you both .
You fellows live in a really beautiful part of the world. I really love the scenery in all of your videos. You are also costing me a fortune !! Everything you show I feel the need to go out and get one, myself. You should get a cut from dealers for selling their products.
Slovenia is really beautiful country and we are lucky to live here. And can you imagine how much stuff we have. If I had money enough I would buy every single RC gizmo out there ;-) But we really love this hobby and we will buy as long as it will be possible. All the best to you and big salute from Slovenia, Robert
a lot of videos i have seen they do not drive it very slow so i was worried you have to have high rpm to turn it but because of your excellent driving i see now it turns so nice even slow thx for this wonderful video sir you are a real professional
Season 3 , for me. The boat has seen some action. Some good, some not . THE boat got snagged in some reeds, and we tried to drive it out. THE ESC over heated , and eventually went to ESC heaven. THE pins on the canopy , tore out, so round two. I replaced my ESC with a Dynamite 60 And it gave me the option to run the switch cord outside the boat, which I love. Because now, I can hook up power, and switch it from the out side. FOR he lights, I hooked up a digital switch , which ran off the 3RD . channel on the receiver, so no manual switching. YOU guys , should try it. IT would make for a good DYI video. THE Cajun needs a driver. THE kids at my pond , were always cracking on me, for NOT having a driver. NOW , Scotty , from Star Trek is at the helm. It's a huge attraction. AND added. THE weight actually balances the boat better. AND of course, adds to cool factor. Love your vids... keep it up! , Thanks!
Very cool guys you need to fill those chairs that would be cool i see your having fun today beautiful back round looks so nice and peacefull there nice job*****,,,K
Mr. P., Must comment.. Something about the Commander (to me) is more dimensional and entertaining than the speedboats.. The boats are cool but I think I would get Mr. Cajun first..! No doubt.. Cool things to do with it..!! Oh definitely "Yeah"..
Nice! I really like mine I have always and still have boats but this thing is my FAV goes anyplace over anything.. check out my commander videos I ran mine through really bad weeds and scum!
