Love it! You three make the best of everything--you make every situation fun! 😘🤗 I love watching Liam's expressions. ❤️ After hours of traveling MANY miles everyone is still happy and upbeat! The snow is beautiful. ❄️☃️
Be sure to get off station and explore the region all you can. From the ice festival up north to street festivals and places off grid. I raised two young ones there and built memories lasting years.
Was this staying in Aomori only an winter season ? I come from Hirosaki in Aomori. Now, I am in Tokorozawa, Saitama prefecture. When I was a kid around 1978, I visited first Misawa air base show. I can remeber the F4 tomcat that run and flied in front of us. I recommand that the barbecue sauce "スタミナ源 たれ" is the worth to try. We, aomori people, use always the sauce when eating burnt beef or pork with some vegetables(onion, eggplant, .etc). Not only Misawa city but also Aomori prefecture are attractive for you. There are hot springs, local foods(Ramen, Sushi, Clam-miso-soup(しじみ), etc), tourist area(Sannai-Maruyama Remains, Hirosaki Castle, Lake Towada and driving the road along Oirase river, etc) near Misawa city. Enjoy staying there and having new experiences and good time for your family.
Hi, did you end up in base housing if you don't mind me asking? I have questions but was hoping to find someone who has lived there recently. I'm wondering if they have put in more ac units or if they are updating housing and what people seem to be getting. Hope you have enjoyed it so far!
We did end up in base housing, we love it so far. Housing is small but manageable. They are updating all housing to have AC units in them from what I’ve heard.
I lived there in 1956-1959……12 years old. You will make a ton of memories in Japan. I treasure many from there. Enjoy all.
