    Let's be honest here Zuki and Honda is by far the most outdated manufacturer on the market. I'm a Honda guy as well. Both companies need a serious kick in the ass if they wanna compete in today's market. I haven't been impressed by them in more than 10 years.

      Honda is living off their name . they built a reputation 30 years ago and have coasted pretty much ever since

      I dont mind the outdated part when it comes to having a foot shift transmission. Its the engines better suited for a go cart that turn me off. If Honda would make a foot shift Rubicon that has the horsepower the Polaris 570 has people would be standing in line to buy one. A foot shift V twin 750-1000 with a bulletproof 5 speed foot shift would have me standing at the door tomorrow!! I miss shifting gears but I cant deal with 25hp and 45mph top speed. I dont think Honda will ever listen though and ive given up on them. However I refuse to ever buy a Polaris again so Kawasaki or Yamaha is my only choices from now on. At least the Brute Force and Grizzly cant be passed by a kid on a lawn mower!

      same with Suzuki there banking on there reliability

    • @JohnnyRebKy
      @JohnnyRebKy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes they are...but Suzuki seems willing to give some decent power unlike Honda. Suzuki is at least making a effort to get back into the game, bring some decent power, and be reliable. The only brand unwilling to do anything to give customers a little power is HONDA. Their 680cc Rincon makes a whopping 38 horsepower LOL. So their almost 700cc quad cannot even compete with a Polaris 570 engine. I hate Polaris but their 500cc class engines are fantastic! So theres no reason why Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda shouldn't be making 55HP or so with their 750cc engines when a Polaris 570 makes 44HP. Again the Honda 500 is 25HP and tops out at 45mph LOL. Its a total embarrassment. I miss the reliability of the ole japanese brands and theres no reason they couldn't keep that reliability and give us at least 50HP out of their engines. AND...they have made crotch rocket engines for years and they could make a ATV engine that would mop the floor with Polaris and Can am if they really wanted to do so! Kawasaki Brute Force with a Ninja engine would blow the ATV world upside down LOL. Honda could make a engine that would blow Polaris out of the water too if they wanted. But geez if the 500 Rubicon would just make 45HP like the Polaris engine with the bulletproof 5 speed foot shift id be buying one tomorrow.

    Thanks for the review, much appreciated. Note - the rider's weight provides the "ride-in" that you speak of while the vehicle is in motion. The way that Zuki has engineered the suspension attributes to the maximum ground clearance when in operation as opposed to saggy shocks that are under sized for the weight of the vehicle (which you call ride-in). Also, the sealed rear brake system is completely bulletproof, and I have never touched the system on all three of my King's that I have owned since 2005 (I currently have the 2015). As you pointed out, the brake was not adjusted properly. That brake system is one of the many strengths of the King's overall design; in all sorts of weather and mud, you can always rely on that rear brake - trust me, it is an engineering marvel which should be incorporated on all ATV's in my mind. Regarding the Park Function; lots of guys that I ride with curse this function as it is hard to get out of gear on an incline (especially the Grizz), which I assume is why Zuke passed on it and uses the park break instead - it works very well even in the frigid cold. The Kings (all three of them), have never left me in the woods in year-round climate, they are an awesome and reliable ATV and I will trade up again in a few years (or keep this one for my son and buy another). Safe riding to all - Cheers.

    Crappy tires and very ordinary suspension is unacceptable for the price they are asking.

      Owned a can am, and spent way more time wrenching than riding, even got towed home by a Polaris. Sure it had more power than my Suzuki, comparing a 500 to 500. Other than that almost everything else is better on my Suzuki and it actually has a real locking differential. Not a slip your rear tires and wait for visco shit lock to kick in.

    Really like Suzuki KingQuads 750. Ok to answer question to started but didn’t know. 750 should actually be 720 or a 725 because of having only 722cc on 750. That means for The King he’s putting out 49.7 HP at back tires. While Grizzly 700 has 48HP and the Beast Brute Force 750 has 749cc with a very strong 52HP at back tires. Honda Foreman /Rubicon models. Previous Rubicon 500 motor has 475cc with 28HP at back wheels then their much needed legit 500 with 518cc putting 32.8Hp roughly at rear wheels. I would really love to see Honda Rubicon go to a SS Model play with a new name on a 750cc motor. Like
    The Honda Rudicon-SS 750 with the hole 750cc displacement and put out around 53 hp or more. Come on Honda you got to do something to redeem yourself from the 680 Rincon. It might be a reliable four wheeler but I just don’t see and feel were there’s anything special about it when driven it just falls to short and can’t compete with the other ones in his class it’s kind of like the Honda’s from the 80s and 90s it’s made to work not play.

    Test drove the Suzuki king Quad 750 2019 and the Yamaha Grizzly 700 2018 SE at the same dealer , the Grizzly ride won me over ,it was much smoother then the KQ , the kQ is a nice ATV but the ride quality wasn’t as good as the Grizzly and I’m a Honda guy, I traded in a 2017 Honda Rancher DCT with PS ,IRS, the experience is like night and day riding now .

    .I bought a new 2019 a few months ago and I can't complain. I love the brown plastics. This wheeler is perfect for a 50 year old guy who's not out to high speed race through the trails and run through the skeg. It's perfect for hunting or pulling a shanty on the ice. I bought mine to push a snowblower that I built myself and totally beats the old garden tractor snowblower setup. I would be the 1st in line if they get into the side by side market.

    In the fall of 2017 I contacted my local Suzuki dealer and my local Yamaha dealer to get quotes on a king quad 750 and a Grizzly 700. The Suzuki dealer was several weeks getting back to me and by then I had the grizzly purchased . Now my 2018 grizzly is heading to the dealer for an engine update kit including piston, piston rings, rist pin and cylinder head, basically the entire top end. It's to fix a problem with premature wear and piston slap causing oil burning, smoke and possible catastrophic failure. The engine is built by Fuji Heavy Industries and they screwed up. My Grizzly has 3030 km, 202.2 hours and it's on its 3rd oil and filter change since the dealer performed the first service. I'm not happy about the whole deal and it puts a sour taste in my mouth. There could be a king quad 750 or maybe a 500 in my future.

    Hopefully this big single runs better than the Grizzly's engine. My 2018 caughs and stalls after every cold start, when it's around 7°C or less. It also backfires like a pos when getting off the throttle. I like the entire grizzly package and build quality but engine tuning/refinement is pretty poor for the cost. Think I'd take a 500 king quad just to get rid of the big bore grizzly.

      Suzuki and Yamaha can't even be compared when it comes to their ATV engines - Yammy sport bikes are strong engines though (and their cruisers). The King's EFI engine runs smooth and strong in all weather temperatures...never heard it backfire, nor has it stalled etc. The engine is pure and seamless power delivery in all areas of it's powerband. Try one out, you will be impressed. Beautiful engine, I have the 750 and my friend has the 500...we often trade for a few km's and I would say they both are a great bikes. Cheers.

    Let's be honest here. Suzuki and Honda are huge corporations that exist to make money. As soon as they are no longer making money, they will morph and change their product line up. Not everyone wants the same thing. There are a ton of people who still want their products just the way they're built............include me in that list of people.
