it's easy to damage the plastic tab by prying it up as shown. Poking the tab outward from the opposite side with an icepick or flat head screw through the small hole works fine too. Pull on the canopy bar at the same time.
Agreed! Exactly what I did. Easier with a helper to pull the bar while you push, but you can also use your HEAD to lift up on the bar while you push the tab out.
This is the stupidest stroller I ever bought! The seat pad doesn’t come off! What kind of manufacturer would not have a removable washable cover for a child’s item?? My kid spills juice, milk essentially anything and that makes stains and harbors germs. I mean why would I want to put my kid in this filthy thing now? They just did this deliberately so we wouldn’t be able to clean and buy another one after it’s run down. I don’t write reviews normally, but I am just so disappointed after spending the entire day trying to remove the cover. I live in an apartment and don’t have a hose!
Is there a way to remove the part they sit on to wash it?? I cant find it anywhere but I bought mine used and it's been sitting in our garages so it's caked in dust. 🤔
Sorry, I haven’t figured out a way to remove the seat. If you have some hot sunny days in the forecast you could try pressure washing it (coin operated self serve car wash)? And then leave it in the sun to dry.
