I know people always use the word "eargasm" to describe this song, but I get this weird sense of extreme joy inside my stomach when I hear this. Hands down the most raw song I have ever heard.
Cant believe this one is still up. One of the first videos I ever watched on youtube, helped me discover not just NIN and a whole genre of video games, but it helped shape my entire music taste. An elegant video from a more civilized age. RIP to this era of the internet.
best critique comment I think I have ever read. You truly captured the nature of what is so like-able about this song in a very few words. If I read that before hearing the song I would know exactly what to expect and I wouldnt be disappointed.
as a runner, i do 3 or 4 warm-up laps on the track to this song, considering i've done that before every great race i've ever had. pumps me up like no other. the montage is really sick too. great vid
Dude, this video friggin rocked! Specially at 2:26, with the missle kicking of the really intense part of the music! It all flowed well together. Seriously, good job!
Really cool Video! It tells a story ... not only a video and music, you have connected it, its one thing! The pictures and the Music have the same energie! Really great
lol I didn't even read the stupid comments, and not going too, but here's what I think. I saw this video yesterday while looking for this music and loved it. The music fits perfectly with the images that are extremely well chosen. And the montage is great too. 5 Stars. Ariakas, don't mind people who only criticize, this is good stuff. Thumbs up.
I can't describe the feeling when I listen to this song, however it's something like this, when I work out or play american football, this goes through my mind : 1. The intro = warmes me up, I focus on my goal 2. The middle = makes me destroy everything and everyone in front of me 3. The end = relaxes me, and I stand as a winner or loser at the end of the game or workout. (I did wath I wanted to do or a didn't give my 100% and came out as a loser).
I dont understand why people get pissy with others because they heard this from a video game or whatever! At the end of the day, were all here to appreciate nine inch nails. It doesn't matter where you heard it from.
music is most important, lyrics are secondary. this song doesn't need words to be intense and emotional. music without lyrics is still music, lyrics without music is poetry.
good job. Loving it. I have a suggestion though. Rather than A Creed, you might wanna put in some thing from modern era like metal gear, splinter cell etc. then it would look more like a movie trailer :) oh and think about torrent release for downloading :)
Im with u my friend, perfect dark was the best shooter by far, even with those old graphics, I still play it everytime, even more than some xbox 360 games. Gamers nowadays just play to find good graphics but they dont enjoy anything else. I just say, game is a game and the true meaning of playing is to have fun. Just my point.
Well even though you're totally right, in his defense i think his point was specifically referring to the enjoyment of graphics, irrespective of how good the game is. He's saying how did we enjoy those graphics, as in visually how did we find these experiences to be so amazing when in the future the visuals will look almost near real life. And this trailer is primarily showcasing graphics and visuals, not gameplay.
This is the one.
This is the video that introduced me not only to gaming, but to Halo and, most importantly, to Nine Inch Nails!
I know people always use the word "eargasm" to describe this song, but I get this weird sense of extreme joy inside my stomach when I hear this. Hands down the most raw song I have ever heard.
one of my favourite all time songs. oh man i love this with some good quality headphones. the depth of audio, production quality is just insane...
Good memories of this song 7 years ago i was so addict to this!!!!
Cant believe this one is still up. One of the first videos I ever watched on youtube, helped me discover not just NIN and a whole genre of video games, but it helped shape my entire music taste. An elegant video from a more civilized age. RIP to this era of the internet.

a classic,, still in my play list ... good job!
I really loved the small, gentle details throughout the whole video, like in the beginning when the punches/moves were synched with the music.
best critique comment I think I have ever read. You truly captured the nature of what is so like-able about this song in a very few words. If I read that before hearing the song I would know exactly what to expect and I wouldnt be disappointed.
"this is where we hold them!! this is where we fight!! this is where they die!!"
"earn these shields, boys!!"
as a runner, i do 3 or 4 warm-up laps on the track to this song, considering i've done that before every great race i've ever had. pumps me up like no other. the montage is really sick too. great vid

While this isn't the normal type of music I listen to, that 10/4 signature makes the song sound very interesting and unique.

The piano in the end is amazing!

great vid, great timing with the music
Awesome video man just awesome everthing fits just fine :)
Just plain awesome.
It was used in one of the Crysis 2 trailers. So yes, it does.
music is most important, lyrics are secondary. this song doesn't need words to be intense and emotional.
music without lyrics is still music, lyrics without music is poetry.
!!!!!!!!D: Talk about goosebumps to the highest degree!
Much love, 5/5, favorited.
nope, it's just instrumental. awesome video, there's some really great timing of the images with the music.
good job. Loving it. I have a suggestion though. Rather than A Creed, you might wanna put in some thing from modern era like metal gear, splinter cell etc. then it would look more like a movie trailer :) oh and think about torrent release for downloading :)
Amazing music, video, edit :)
THE MOST intense WALL of sound ever created!
THIS IS MADNESS!
This song is awesome!
But the part after 2:10 is so awesome it gives me chills!
2:57 SPARTANS! TONIGHT... WE DINE... IN HELL!!!!
i like the millenium flythrough video for this song, or the live versions better, but games are cool too. good vid
The Fragile is one of the most brilliant albums of all time. Anyone new to this song (IE Crysis 2) should hear the rest of the album.
This.....Is what epic sounds like!!!
Aweosme, just pure awesome.
Terrific song....great video.
sucha cool vid lol, kudos bro!
NIИ FTW!
Awesome song one of my favorites
You know there are songs that you can feel from the inside... or is that just me! I can feel this song in my blood! arrrrrgghhh!!!

Just my point.
This is madness!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOD
NINE INCH NAILS..AWESOME MUSIC
Jaw-droppingly epic
The best part of 300 was the trailer. Because of this song. Mixing this song with Leonidas voice was pure genius.
Now that is cool!
loooove assassins creed :) cant wait for the new one
this song is like a combination of hundreds of video game souls used into one great song
100% agreed, not just for fps games but rpg's of toady aswell
Well even though you're totally right, in his defense i think his point was specifically referring to the enjoyment of graphics, irrespective of how good the game is. He's saying how did we enjoy those graphics, as in visually how did we find these experiences to be so amazing when in the future the visuals will look almost near real life.
And this trailer is primarily showcasing graphics and visuals, not gameplay.
The buildup starting at 2:10 is absolutely incredible.
God this video just reeks of edgy early youtube video editing
welcome to 2007 music videos lmao
Nope, this video reeks of Nostalgia
You gotta love it all the same. Captures the essence; 300, halo wars and barely reaching 360/480p
Nine inch nails just gained like 10,000 respect points with this song
that was really really sick
It's actually from a 1999 album by Nine Inch Nails (NIN) called 'The Fragile' ..... Superb!
sublime
i say 7 words: this is Epic Music !
"we did what we were trained to do, what we were bred to do, what we were born to do!"
that was epic!
dont know what vid game this is, but very good editing. props! :)
The end makes me tingle :P
