This is an adaptation of Stinger??? I would have never known even after watching it. I can't fathom why would you buy the rights for a book that you will never use. What's the point? It doesnt seem like they want to wrap it up either. Everyone just make shows with the possibility to go on forever knowing perfectly well that the viewers will lose interest around season 2 because you never give them enough. So they know they will never give you a completed story. They just shoot for the sake of having some job to do. They dont want to give a finished product because one of these dice rolls might just give them a sure paycheck for 8 seasons. Just drag on some vague storyline with no ending in sight. Yvonne Strahovski is asked to render first aid to a neighbor's wounded horse. Upon examining the wounded horse, she discovers a large wooden splinter in the horse's neck. She warns of the risk of severing a major blood vessel when it is removed but alas removed it without any further trauma to the horse. That being said, she pats the horse and says it will be fine. Excuse me? A dirty foreign object imbedded in the neck? Maybe the wound needs irrigation with suturing and the horse placed on antibiotics. Also so many unlikable characters running around in the woods screaming the lost kids name. Thumbs down for me with this Peacock gig.
