    Ran Stihl bars for over 25yrs, with close to 1,000,000 trees. Never felt the need to buy a cannon.
    1 bar, and 2 tips a year.

    I don't think your wrong at all to expect the best quality from them. But I've used spray paint and clear coat and it lasted a long long time. Heck poulan bars aren't coated and the logos last quite a while. 👍🏻 Challenging someone or a company to do better is what it takes, its not a bad thing at all in my eyes and moves the standards forward and drives innovation to get better and do the best you can.

    @StuInTheSticks 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    If your using a bar for wood cutting GTG's where everyone's just showing off with the hey look what I've got then I guess it matter's, if your a production cutter falling every day then it makes no difference. Most people I know who cut for their paycheck run mostly Stihl Husqvarna or Oregon bar's simply on how much wood can you cut for the least amount of money spent, expensive bar's don't make the grade no matter how nice they look or even how good they might be. Two or three bar's to one in cost is a no brainer and you get a fresh bar two or three times as often, sorry I know you probably don't want to hear it but that's the real world most of us live in.

    • @IndianaDoug
      @IndianaDoug  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No offense taken, I appreciate the insight. I have many different brand bars, these cannon seem to hold up the best for what I do. And no, it doesn’t matter at all in quality of cut, it’s the statement Cannon is making here. I feel like they don’t care, or take pride in their name/brand. If you know there’s a process that’s better for even cheaper, but you neglect to use it, is what does not make sense to me. If it were my company, the logo would be on my bars when my grandchildren use them 20/30 years from now.

    • @StuInTheSticks
      @StuInTheSticks 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1
