Perhaps I should just go back to grabbing them and holding a knife to their throat like I've always done."
This game had the best characterization for Sam. Michael Ironside was thinking about leaving the role before he read the script for Conviction. It's a shame Ubisoft went backwards with Blacklist. They could've had old AF Sam Fisher in some sort of advisory/mentor role and given us a new protagonist.
Well the only reason Ironside didn't reprise his role in Blacklist was his cancer. Thank God he is back now. I hope they will make another more brutal, gritty and personal SC like this one next.

For anyone interested in knowing, just do a quick Google search of “Does Sam Fisher Kill Reed” and you’ll find that the very first answer you get states that Sam shoots Reed once in each shoulder and then spares him to which Reed starts bragging, prompted by this Grim executes Reed by shooting him in the head.
This may be a cliche splinter cell but this one has the most beuatiful aesthetics. Design and in game combat visual deisgns. The settings and all,I think it beats Blacklist. *For visual wise* Hope they did a new one with this setting,design and style. With some extra attention to aggresive playstyle and better writing it would've been a win.

Hitting him is more satisfying to watch though.
If you hit him, the three dots are still formed, just on his cheeks/forehead instead of spread out across his body/head.
