I love working at Cinepolis and am so proud of my GM Mike who is a pleasure to work for and with. He can be seen helping in every area of the Theatre even helps to clear the tables when servers are overwhelmed by the record crowds who attend especially on the weekends. He lets me have fun greeting the guests as those from Les Miserable and let me sing to them and some of the guests sang back to me making the Theatre more of a treasured experience. So glad 2 share stories of my work in tv film.

Cinepolis Luxury Theaters actually originated in Mexico and have slowly worked their way up the west coast to a little place called Westlake Village.

I was visiting my uncle, aunt and cousin in Orange County during the Holidays in 2016 and they surprised me with a trip to one of these incredible cinemas to watch Star Wars Rogue One! Had one of the best burgers ever and the chocolate milkshake of my cousin looked really good as well. Hope I'll be able to go back one day😄

nice that they serve sushi, the website doesnt say they do but maybe the place actually serves it. The screens are small but as long as the sound is loud its should do.

      @@violethaye6987 *UPDATE*
I know it’s a bit late, especially since they were closed most of last year due to COVID-19, but I finally got there this year and it is so much better than it was before (first it was Clearview, then Bow Tie).
Beats the dated 90’s look it had before (opened originally in mid 1999 with Phantom Menace and Matrix).

It makes me sad that theaters are doing more of this. I don’t want servers coming in and out of the theater while I’m trying to watch a movie. It’s distracting and totally unnecessary. Nor do I want a million smells floating around the theater. Have we really gotten this lazy that we have to be reclined in La-Z-Boy seats constantly being fed by servants? Does anyone actually care about…oh I don’t know…the MOVIE anymore? As a person whose career has been in television and film this is really a guy punch to see. I had a Cinépolis open just miles from me recently and, being fed up with my AMC theaters partially going to a dining-style theater plan, and because I’m not forced to pick an exact seat from a grid rather than just go in and find the seat I like best, I was excited to see another theater nearby. That is until I read about it. I’m a person who for several decades saw as many as two new movies a week in theaters. I grew up in the movie theater. But in recent years I’ve literally seen 3 movies total in theaters the past 5 years. It makes me so sad. I miss movies so much, but if this is what the experience has become then they’ll eventually have to go the way of the dodo for me.

Just go early during the week or after 10, there’s at most a couple or rarely 2 couples inside.... 3times in last 5 years? Sounds to me you hopped on the Netflix Hulu Train and to lazy to get out and go see a movie... I’ve been on the same train so I know the feeling as well...

cinepolis it`s la familia michoacana money, drug money made way before it was know that the narco bussines was the future, back in the seventies ramires (the last name of the owners) secure the rights to sell or distribute the hollywood movies in latin america, so if you saw a movie in argentina, chile, brazil etc, in the late 70`s ,80`s till now, you paid the ramirez for their part in bringing that movie to you.
all that with drug money thta was generated by the rampant drug traficking of the 60`s, 70`s .
latter they became what we know now as the familia michoacana, even bigger and now a killing corporation that stops @ nothing to generate money.
    so enjoy your cinepolis experience.
