Yeah, except for the fact that the governments of France and Italy have agreements on that sort of stuff now, so I'm pretty sure those aren't considered stolen anymore, I'm pretty sure they're there with the approval of the Italian government and in return Italy probably has a bunch of French art on their museum walls

A very good case can be made for the British Museum. If for example the details from the Parthenon had not been purchased by a Brit and donated to the museum, they probably would not exist now.
When Turkey had conquered Greece and was struggling to hold on, their stored ammunitions inside the Parthenon, confident the Greek rebels would not explode it.

Almost all the damage we see on the Parthenon today is from an explosion set off by Greeks.

Art thieves are not really the problem, people that dig without authorization (the "tombaroli") are destroying our chances to understand the local history. Taking away the artifact from the area means that we lose many informations like the way it was buried, the place, why was it buried or the meaning of the object and when they find gold and silver artifacts they melt them...
No, thanks to incriptions on the crater we know the author and when it was created (over 2.500 years ago). It's in exceptional condition and of course it's also regarded as one of the best representation of greek red and white figures.

History shows that when a country is weak, it submits to big countries, but when a small country becomes strong, it invades a weaker country (like Japan). Large countries always bully small countries, causing wars to expand their influence and territories such as China, Peter the Great in Russia, America, Britain, and France during World War 1 and 2.
So the right thing doesn't always win. Finland had to cut 10% of its land to Russia during the war in 1939 , Russia could leave it alone in peace. Now Ukraine is a smaller country than Russia, if you follow Finland, Russia will leave it alone for a certain period of time. In fact, Russia wants to expand its influence in the countries of the former Soviet Union system, or beyond the glory days of Peter the Great.

Web technologies created a lot of new weathly companies friends, ask them Apple UK if they are willing to borrow me the money so BBC could make of this video a TV series because... it's very interesting, not only understanding how many archeological treasures are still to be found under the ltalian ground since the Etruschi civilization, a cup of centuries before the Roman Empire, have you any idea how many are they three hundred years? How strong had to feel the Roman Empire before it went to pieces? Yeah, it's a great story to tell. Caravaggio was very involved to paint himself in every painting, try to imagine him holding modern technologies and have a movie director vision. Once he got drunk and murdered a ...poker matie, he felt so guilty for the rest of his life, all his paintings are telling us about his huge remorse, he punished himself like nobody else

Be the person who breaks the cycle. If you were judged, choose understanding. If you were rejected, choose acceptance. If you were shamed, choose compassion. Be the person you needed when you were hurting, not the person who hurt you. Vow to be better than what broke you-to heal instead of becoming bitter so you can act from your heart, not your pain.
