I just finished it. At times I felt like I hated how long the story was taking as I’m a slow reader, but the more I read the more I got sucked in. I was amazed at the intertwined fates and complexity of the revenge. I also was impressed by the larger spiritual themes as well as themes on redemption and forgiveness. I found it not just entertaining but also thought provoking and maybe even inspiring. It makes me want to check out the Three Musketeers as this is the only Dumas novel I have read so far

Hands down a 10/10 for me. Read it twice, and will likely do it many more times.
