been bowling in league now for years had the odd 200 game but mainly round 150 tried this last night after the first game i got the hang of it bowled 209 and 223 very happy so was my team thanks for the help i am enjoying bowling a lot more now
This is the very best beginner level instruction on how to hook a ball that I've ever seen. Most videos you see will be taken from afar off and you cannot see the slow motion of the fingers around the ball in most videos. This one provides close up detail. Best!
This isn't the proper way to do it! 😂 Right now my average is 205. I saw the clock video about a year ago and I still practice that method making sure my my release is where it needs to be. For all you beginners I recommend watching JR's other training videos he has made.
Does it matter what type of bowling bowls are used? Conditions in Czech are far behind the conditions in USA, but I still want to curve the ball. I have tried the curve. The ball was spinning, yet it would keep going straight althouth it was spinning. Is it possible the balls beginners balls are designed in a different way and you cannot curve them that easily please?
you need a soft urethane ball and the ones in the center for beginner is a hard plastic ball. hard ball needs less oil on the lane. if the hard ball is able to spin after you throw it, that means you need to slow your ball for it to grip the lane to your desire throw path of movement for the ball to hit the pins. center's ball are with conventional finger holds position. you want more spin you need to have a personal ball drill either with semi tip or finger tip grip position.
