Together they can do 13 units work a day.after working 5 days together they complete 65 units work .when x left work after 5 days, Remaining work is 120-65=55units and y and z can do 7 units per day together so they can complete remaining work in55 /7 days.
From your first example if I twist the question to "If 20 men or 24 women or 40 boys can do a job in 12 days , how many men working with 6 women and 2 boys can complete the work in 32 days? What is the trick or solution?
You have to apply the same trick for this question also. Just put x where you need number of man and put this equation = 32 , and solve it. Your answer will be 1.5 man.

then

Multiplying by 2 and dividing by 3 on both the sides

2M + 3W+ 4B
8/3W + 3W + 8/3 W
